24.01.2022 Today we received a large batch of United States Presidential Dollars! From 2007 to 2011 hundreds of millions of Presidential dollars were produced for circulation by the US Mint. Possibly due to a significant portion of these coins being held onto by collectors, from 2012-2016 the dollar coins were produced specifically for the collector market.... Whilst the lifespan in circulation of a dollar coin is greater than that of a note, US citizens still prefer the note as it allows for convenient tipping money.

23.01.2022 Today we came across a selection of fake Pennies. Here we have two real Pennies and two fakes. One of the real Pennies has also been cleaned. Can you determine which is which? Identifying the fakes can be incredibly difficult based solely on images. This is why you should always be weary when purchasing scarce coins online, unless it is from a well-known and reputable dealer.... If you are unsure about a coin and you feel the deal is too good to be true, consult an expert. We are here to help!

23.01.2022 Whilst digging through a variety of mixed world banknotes this morning I stumbled upon a note with a fascinating story behind it. In 1954 Canadian banknotes were issued with what many believe to be the intentional inclusion of the likeness of a demon-like figure. Whilst it remains unclear as to whether or not this image was intentionally inserted, it is quite noticeable once you are familiar with them. The top being bushy eyebrows followed by a hooked nose and a wide grin tow...ards the bottom. Ultimately, the government arranged a second printing with alterations made to the shading on this area of the Queens hair to conceal the unsettling image.

19.01.2022 We currently have a 15% discount storewide on our current selection of Star Notes! Star Notes were produced whenever a fault was identified in any standard banknotes during production. These flawed notes were destroyed and new notes were produced with a minor alteration. The new note featured the addition of an asterisk or star in place of the last number in the serial number which identified them as a replacement note. Issued right after the Penny Black, you may be surprised to learn that the total production run of Two Penny Blues was only approximately 10% of the staggering 68.8 million Penny Blacks. We've just made an example of this stamp available on our website. Whilst not the most stunning example it represents a significant point in philatelic history.
