20.01.2022 Townsend Op Shop has two good quality kitchen appliances just in. A Breville Bread Maker and a heavy duty Breville juicing machine. Both are in a used but very clean condition. Our opening hours are Wednesdays to Saturdays 8.30 to 12.30.

18.01.2022 PACKING BOXES NEEDED Does anyone have any moving/packing boxes that you could sell/donate to Townsend Op Shop. We'd be happy to pick up or you may care to drop them off at the shop in Scullin Street Townsend any morning from Wed to Sat this week.

18.01.2022 Townsend Op Shop is one year old. We opened on 12th October last year. We wish to thank all our wonderful volunteers who have supported us so willingly. We certainly could not have grown and succeeded to the extent we are today without your fabulous help and enthusiasm. We also thank you, our customers, for your generous donations, and your regular visits and purchases. We have been getting to know many of you personally, and we love that. Our aim is to give you a pleasant shopping experience and we hope you've been able to find a bargain or two. Because of the Covid safety rules we're disappointed that we are unable to have a big anniversary celebration, but we'll continue to give you the best possible service when you visit us.

17.01.2022 Visit our shop and meet this gorgeous array of unique hand-crafted collector dolls, each with it's own distinct outfit and personality. Any one of them would look comfortable in the corner of your lounge or brightening up your spare guest bed. We're open the four mornings of Wed, Thurs, Fri. and Sat. from 8.30-12.30.

Lots of ladies have been taking advantage of this opportunity to stock up on warm gear for next year. While here you can pick up one of our attractive doona cover sets at half price.

Townsend Op-Shop has had a whole new range of Autumn-weight clothing going on the racks over the last week or two, including some beautiful 3/4 length ladies pants that will sell fast. Pop in any time Wed, Thurs, Fri or Saturday morning from 8.30 - 12.30 and get a bargain or two.

There's also a good supply of beautiful baby and toddler clothing. You can find us in Scullin St. Townsend and we're open each week Wed. to Sat. 8.30 to 12.30. See you then!

04.01.2022 We apologise that the op shop will be closed this coming Thursday 20th August due to a funeral being held in the same building. We're sorry for any inconvenience. The shop will be open this week on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.

03.01.2022 Townsend Op-Shop will need to be closed on Friday 13th November due to a funeral. We appologise for any inconvenience this may cause to anyone. We will be open as usual the next day, Saturday 14th, from 8.30am. We have been putting our Christmas stock out already and it is selling fast. There are Christmas trees, decorations, cards, CD's, clothing, wrappings, novelties and more. Also for the "crafty" person there is a beautiful Christmas Craft book and an array of items for making "that special gift".

02.01.2022 Townsend Op Shop has some good camping items just in time for your summer holiday....2 gas lamps and a single burner cooktop to use with an LPG gas tank. Also a Dream Pot for economical and effortless meal prep when travelling or camping. Also (not shown) two air mattresses, a small 2/3 man tent, child's camp chair and a couple of fishing rods. We'll be open Wednesday to Saturday 8.30 to 12.30.
