19.01.2022 Cheers to the crew that showed today, Dywane, Damien, Donks and myself got the corner after brick jump, and the section between the gauntlet berm and tripple runin tidied plus, pending confirmation date we will be getting an excavator on the hill to have a go at gauntlet berm (rebar berm) and tiding up from tripple down. As is i'll be trimming the track this arvo. its looking up. time to shred.

14.01.2022 By the way guys this is the test run of our all new timing system, no more countdowns and stopwatches, just roll in, roll off, I want to load this system up, Nominate! I need to know if a second shuttle is needed. We have a shuttle driver but a deliver would be good and at this stage I'm roping in spectators to marshal. Noddy
12.01.2022 DH 2 is approaching, Stuart Lower Old sides where its at this time around. time to get rowdy. Track is trimmed, bit of work due in the coming weeks on WC corner and Brickjump. many hands make light work so keep an eye out for working B's.

08.01.2022 Hey ya’ll In case you didn’t see the Rockwheelers FB page, the club made a call today to postpone a number of events up to 31st May which includes the DH social this Sunday and the first round of the DH series. Wados is still running the working bee at Stuart this Saturday from 6am. Swing a wipper snipper or a rake hoe to maintain social distancing!! Watch this space for more news as it develops. 07.01.2022 DH #2 is fast approaching, need to get some trail running shmick on old side... bring ya best trail building weapon to lower stuart carpark Sunday 8AM and we can decide plan of attack based on numbers. Post up on here if you're a definate.
07.01.2022 DH 3 is coming, ricky carmicheal and berm before step down have been piled up, verry dusty and soft. will be going up there during week with the water. track could do with a rakedown from sneakies. otherwise track is running like a DH track should, rough and raw. get keen.

04.01.2022 Results are in from DH1, cheers everyone for supporting Townsville DH. Thanks to all the volunteers and ring ins for pulling together when it was required. It was a busy time on the hill from some of the footage i've seen. If anyone has any choice pics throw 'em up here. Stay tuned for DH2, June 9th.

02.01.2022 Righto so sorry guys the race had to be postponed, at the time TMR had advised us that the road would still require work until end of this week. As it is the ro...ad is now open but the race has shifted to the 7th of April. Keep an eye out for working bees on the hill as the silver lining to this story is that we should have the tracks running prime by that stage. See more
