25.01.2022 Update - due to the uncertain nature of the weather forecast our open day tomorrow has been CANCELLED. We are hoping to perhaps have it the following Sunday (pending weather and prior volunteers commitments) but watch this space for info. Please share so everyone gets the message.
24.01.2022 IMPORTANT INFORMATION In light of the recent recommendations by Australian medical professionals, we have considered the importance of ceasing the spread of the covid-19 virus and the role we play in our community. As the higher age of the majority of our members is in the high risk category and the young age of the public that visit us, we have made a decision AT THIS POINT IN TIME that we will NOT OPEN FOR OUR SCHEDULED MARCH RUN DAY. We will monitor this decision as the... recommendations are amended and keep you in the loop and will make a FINAL DECISION as more information comes to hand. The health and safety of our amazing community and our valued Club Members and volunteers is our first priority. The website below is an official source of information and is updated daily (at a minimum). PLEASE WATCH OUR PAGE FOR FURTHER INFORMATION. See more
22.01.2022 Hi lovely likers. At this point we are still planning on opening on Sunday. This could change at very short notice if the predicted rain actually decides to visit us. 20.01.2022 Hi lovely likers!!! I wanted to touch base with you all to let you know that we are not able to reopen yet, due to restrictions on large public gatherings. As most of you would be aware, our open days (particularly in this glorious cooler weather) attract several hundred people and at this time, that amount gathered in an area, is still restricted. Please know that when Covid19 restrictions are eased to suit our circumstances we will reopen with a bang!
18.01.2022 Hello to our lovely likers!!! Due to covid 19 we still cannot open while there are restrictions on large public gatherings (we quite often get 300-600 people on an open day). We cannot provide social distancing on the carriages and still allow people rides in a timely manner. Adequate sanitising of public surfaces between each trip on the trains would also add to already strained wait times. Unfortunately, until further notice we have to remain TEMPORARILY closed. We will reopen when we can comply with regulations and know that we can offer safety to our patrons and volunteers
17.01.2022 Hi everyone!! I’m excited to let you all know that we will be open Sunday 1st March!! As we couldn’t open last Sunday for our regular run day we have decided to open this Sunday instead. Please share this to get the word out and see you there!!!
15.01.2022 While we are closed for our annual break, why not head over to Stockland and support another locally owned and operated business - Charlibelle Parties. Like their page, Enter their competition for the chance to win a free workshop for your kids while you shop or have a coffee. Or better still , book in and get your kids supervised while you do your last minute Xmas shopping!!
