17.01.2022 Self care is very important at the moment. Take some time to enjoy some YOU time. If you’re still able to visit a salon and are worried call before hand and ask... some questions about what they’re doing to #stopthespread . I’m sure you’ll be reassured with their hygiene measures. If you are in self isolation enjoy a face mask or do a ‘spa at home’ style treatment. Perhaps your salon can post your products to you? Ask your PAYOT Therapist to recommend a home care treatment that you can do in-between visits. If you want to support your local business, perhaps purchase a gift voucher or product that you can use in the future. This will help small businesses stay viable. Remember to stop, breathe and know that #wereallinthistogether and ‘this too shall pass ’.

Current Facts as of 23/3/20: Chinese medicine is a registered profession and is regarded as an allied health profession by the Federal Government. Allied health is regarded as a primary health care service and thus serving as an ESSENTIAL NEED. Essential means absolutely necessary. So if patients have a bad back or even a cough it is ESSENTIAL to THEM to get treatment. Our industry falls under both PRIMARY and ESSENTIAL. Primary is a ranking. Whatever is deemed as FIRST or MORE IMPORTANT falls under primary. The World Health Organisation regards traditional medicine practices as primary care and the Australian Government regards us as allied health and therefore primary care.
