25.01.2022 The last few weeks we have been in full demo mode - Things are still a bit too messy for progress photos but we promise they are coming . In the meantime enjoy our son showing off his muscles after helping out with some demo

23.01.2022 This weekend our son worked on his Christmas cards to take to school- He drew a picture on every single card & insisted on each one being different- pausing at each card to discuss what that student would like to see when they open their card. When I asked him why he replied ‘it’s just the nice thing to do.’ Such a thoughtful act - A perfect example of simple kindness. He spent hours to make sure each child would feel special. It is a great reminder of what this season is all about - gifting your time to spark a feeling in someone else. It was a touching reminder bought by the simplicity & kindness of a 5 year olds mind. I just had to share it with you all. Happy Christmas Season

23.01.2022 8pm painting the outside of Townsville Float Centre with the perfect colour... Tranquil Retreat When we say we’ve been working hard we mean it! Is it bedtime yet?

21.01.2022 A great watch & a great message What advice would you give your past self? I think Anthony’s message of ‘forgive yourself’ hits home for me, how about you?

20.01.2022 Anxiety is such a sweeping word that sometimes it can be hard to understand exactly how it manifests. This tells the story. A helpful read for anyone who loves someone with anxiety & also a voice to explain what those of us with anxiety have trouble explaining. When I saw this I had to share it with you all

20.01.2022 Depression, anxiety & PTSD are one of the top reasons people float. I also struggle with anxiety & at times it can be hard to explain how you feel. The world sees one thing & your head tells you something completely different. It can be hard to explain but this captures it so clearly that I had to share it. It can be hard to articulate how mental health feels so when something or someone understands it it can mean the world

20.01.2022 Happy Easter to our floating family We hope you all found ways to celebrate at home with your nearest & dearest. We got creative and had our own Easter hat parade to keep the kids entertained

20.01.2022 Hi float family We are sitting down tonight to update you all on our progress with our renovations. When we ventured into our remodel we truly expected a three month closure & to be up and running again at the end of 2019. Unfortunately the past 9 months have been hard for us both personally & professionally. We lost Stacee’s dad suddenly at the end of 2019, which took some time for her to grasp and grieve. Shortly after Aaron had major surgery and finally at the beginnin...g of 2020 we were able to move full steam ahead with renovations. Then covid happened - while renovations continued, it did slow us down with both work itself & the availability of supplies. We had new services, flooring, furniture & other renovation essentials unable to be supplied or delivered. Then two weeks ago we were told our youngest son requires treatment for a medical condition which will involve weekly travel to Brisbane and surgery for him. Needless to say the past 9 months has had us frustrated and at times defeated. It has become clear that with both our personal bumps in the road & the logistics of covid we will not be able to reopen in July. . We are continuing the renovations & working on areas we are able to while waiting for the pieces to finish other areas. Anyone who has floated with us knows how passionate we are about floating & how much we love our clients. We are determined to push through and reopen our doors with an amazing space & service. We want to reassure you all we are 100% returning - we are not closing. All vouchers and packages will be valid and will have no expiry. We know as hard as this journey has been for us & our family it has been frustrating for those of you itching to float or who have float credits. Once we have a handle on our sons treatment going forward & an update on the delivery of the items we are waiting for we will post again to keep you all in the loop. Once again, Thankyou for standing by us, for supporting our family & business & for being understanding. Aaron & Stacee See more

14.01.2022 Hi Float Family We wanted to reach out during this time to keep in touch with all of you. Foremost, we want to encourage each of you to look after both your physical AND mental health. It is hard to escape the stress and fear in our world at this time so please take time to reset & recharge - to ask yourself what you need. Whether that's a hot bath, yoga at home or Netflix on the lounge. Make sure you are looking after yourself on all fronts. Just to keep you all in the lo...op - We have continued our renovations as best we can but will not be reopen in 4 weeks like we had hoped. As you can all imagine it just wont be possible in this situation. While our business is important to us and we love what we do right now our focus is on health & Australia getting through Coronavirus. We want to emphasise that our thoughts are with our country & community - We will get through this but if you need that 5 minutes to cry, meditate or eat a whole block of Chocolate do it for yourself & those around you. Sending our love, Stacee & Aaron See more

07.01.2022 Hi everyone, It has taken me a while to be able to write this so please stick with me throughout this post! It has been a while since our last posts on social media - unfortuantly this is because my dad suddenly passed away a few weeks ago. Our regulars know that dad spent 3-4 months a year living with us & helping out with the kids & business. My dad was truly my bestfriend so its been a rough time for me. Needless to say the renovations have been on hold & we have actua...lly used the time to reassess what we want moving forward. Our plans for our renovations have had a radical change but with this comes much more work & trying to make up the time we have been on pause. For this reason Townsville Float Centre now be REOPENING sometime in the MIDDLE of 2020 - we are holding back on giving a set date until we can 100% confirm it for you all. All Gift vouchers & packages will be valid on reopening - regardless of purchase & use dates. I appreciate your understanding in this time & if you have contacted us in the past few weeks we apologise for being slow in getting back to you. We love TFC & our clients - but in all honestly I am just taking each day as it comes & doing the best I can at the moment. We will keep you all updated on our renovations & reveal our updated plans soon! Stacee

05.01.2022 Happy Mother’s Day to anyone who plays the role- mums, step mums, nans & the dads doing it all We took the kids out for the first time in 6 weeks for some fish and chips on the strand & they loved every second! Hope you all had a lovely day

03.01.2022 I am sharing this with you all for two reasons - because I have always been open about my mental health with you & I will continue to to play my part in stopping the stigma. But also because we have created our business and relationship with you all based on authenticity and truth. The last few months our focus hasn’t been on our business and you all deserve to know the reasons behind that. 2019 has been the hardest year of my life. I lost my precious dad - my constant, my b...est buddy and truly the best pop and dad you could ask for. On top of this our eldest son started school in an environment that turned out to be toxic for our little guy. So we made the decision to move him. We also lost my nan and our beloved best mate and family dog - Charlie. Aaron underwent two procedures and a spinal surgery. Along with a big change of leaving the Army. And our year finished with a relapse of our youngest son’s medical condition with treatment to come in the new year. I try not to get caught in the bad things - everyone has bad days, bad news. Every person has their own struggles. But 2019 has tested me and my journey with my mental health. 2019 also bought some moments of joy - watching my two boys blossom and grow, a milestone of 10 years with my soulmate & celebrating the marriage of two of our best friends. Nothing will fill the loss of my dad & a piece of my heart will always be left in 2019. But my dad was the biggest advocate for my mental health & he adored me and my boys so with that in my heart & mind I will do my best to focus on the moments of joy in 2020. For both myself and my dad. I hope you all have a wonderful new year & we wish happiness and health to each one of you for 2020 See more

03.01.2022 Thanks to all your wonderful input we decided to keep our loved name & just update our look. We are down to 2 options & would love your input! Let us know your thoughts- which one do you like?! I other news - We have busy working away & are really seeing things start to come together! I am hoping to do a video with our progress & an update this coming week
