22.01.2022 Those who come and see us know how much we preach to wash your lashes, so heres some information on why its so important to wash them ! Everyday we naturally secrete oil from our skin. Those with normal skin are encouraged to wash their lashes everyday, those with more oily prone skin are encouraged to wash their lashes two times a day and after gym sessions or if you cry. Some may know and some may not but oil is no friend to eyelash extension glue. Oil breaks down the bo...nd in the glue which is one of the top causes to retention issues. Which means your lashes will fall out more frequently and in bigger lots. Alot of clients are afraid to wash their lashes, thinking it will cause them to fall out quicker. Allowing the oil, dust, dead skin cells and makeup to build up on your lashes and even clog your follicles. Clogged follicles can lead to nasty eye infections and no lash technician will lash an infected eye. Not being hygienic with your lashes is the worst thing you could do if youre wanting to prolong the life of your extensions. We all have microscopic parasites which live happily on our lashes. These littlies are called Demodex Folliculorum. They are completely harmless, however, an excessive number of mites in the lash follicles caused by poor hygiene will usually result in the eyelash (both extensions and natural lashes) falling out. Constant neglect of your lashes will result in increased sensitivity, and a higher chance of allergic reactions. 21.01.2022 CHRISTMAS IS COMING feel like it was only yesterday I was getting through our last silly season heavily pregnant with you ladies Just a few friendly reminders to help us have the smoothest silly season as possible. ... - please book your appointments in ADVANCE to avoid missing out ! - we have a cancelation list and it does get used ! It’s best to let us know what day and rough time you are looking for or will be available so we can contact you accordingly without bugging you about appointments that don’t suit you. - we are working extra hours through the silly season so please think twice before asking us to come in on a day off or to stay back late. We are doing our very best to get everyone in. Again please book in advance to avoid this happening to you ! - please use the booking system where possible ! It is the quickest and most efficient way to make and secure a booking ! You will need a deposit to secure your appointment for you and only you. - DEPOSITS | you will need to pay your deposit to secure your appointment, we have been relaxed about this for some time if you rebook in store but for the silly season we need to rally tighten the reins. So if you rebook in store you’ll be asked to pay the deposit however if you are unable we will send a request via email for you to pay. Please make sure you are checking your junk. Having your deposit means that appointment is secured for you and only you NO DEPOSIT = NO SECURED APPOINTMENT. In this photo theres actually 3 lashes been my tweezers. Yes thats correct 3! All in different stages of the natural cycle. ... A highly experienced lash artist knows that isolation like this its not up to standard and will continue to isolated untill she/he knows that the lash we are about to apply is only connecting to ONE of your natural lashes. Far to often we see infills come in with baby lashes connect to glue bonds of the lashes next to them but as they grow out its pulled the baby lash out. Causing premature lash loss and even damage. This will create irritation and may cause a stabby feeling. Choose your lash lady wisely! You are placing a lot of trust into us and its our job to make sure we are delivery the absolute best ! 04.01.2022 Salon Policies Reminder Afterpay Minimum of $90 spend... No Mascara Please wear no mascara to your appointment or you will be turned away and deposit forfeited. WASH YOUR LASHES PRIOR TO YOUR APPOINTMENT TO HAVE THE BEST RETENTION POSSIBLE! Running late? Please message ahead as we may need to rebook your appointment, this will mean your deposit will be forfeited. However we are able to continue your appointment it will just mean we will be unable to extend your time allocation and this will prevent us from being able to get your set as full. Running any longer then 10 minutes late will result in appointment cancellation. Bookings All bookings are to be made with a $30 deposit, any last minute cancellations or no shows will result in your deposit being forfeited to cover the cost of resources/ wages for that time allocation and a new deposit will need to be paid when rebooking an appointment. We need 24hrs notice of appointment change to give us the best chance to fill your spot. Children We respectfully ask that no children are brung along to appointments. We always do our best to provide a safe place although there are things that may harm or be broken with unsupervised children. In saying this all babies under 6 months are allowed! If for any reason you are unhappy or your lashes havent lasted PLEASE message us. we want to know and have the opportunity to fix any mistake we may have made. within the first 72 hours you are entitled to a free touch up appointment, most problems that occur after that time frame are highly unlikely to be caused by application. all though it is possible, if it is, you will still get a free touch up!
