15.01.2022 *Statement regarding upcoming events* Following the most recent announcements by the Federal Government regarding the current health crisis and restrictions upon indoor gatherings, it is now not possible for the Music Centre to stage our publicised upcoming concerts. At this time, we have cancelled the concert featuring Pagoda Project, the Piano Recital of Leigh Harrold, the Townsville Concert Band concert, and the Townsville Brass concert. All artists have expressed a willin...gness to try to reschedule once we know possible alternative dates. We will be contacting our emailing list to advise everyone of the current situation and any developments as they may arise. We will also update this "pinned post" with the most up-to-date information. Thank you for your understanding in this matter. We look forward to resuming our concerts once things settle down.

02.01.2022 In February of 2020 we staged a highly successful concert called "Songs of the Shows". This concert featured talented local singers accompanied by a team of superb pianists, performing songs from musicals. For obvious reasons our later concerts in the year had to be cancelled . But - we are returning to the stage on 14 February 2021 with another concert titled "Songs of Fire and Passion". Obviously this includes love songs, but it can also include pretty much any fiery emotion... imagination is the key here! We'd once again like to invite the incredibly talented vocalists of Townsville to be a part of this event. You don't have to "commit" straight away - Simply send us a message for more details.
