25.01.2022 This Sunday is the NQAA social competition and we do have around 20 people entered from all the feeder clubs. Rockhampton, Tablelands, Cairns, and Townsville which is a great effort. We really need a couple of archers who shoot recurve or barebow 30m on a full face to give the Rockhampton shooters some competition. This is the first time for many years that Rockie has entered a comp. Entry is through the following link and I will set it up for you. https://eventdesq.sportstg.com/index.cfm Cheers Peter

18.01.2022 Hi Due to a lack of entrants into the Vets. into Sports course we had planned for this Sunday, I have informed AA that TTA will no longer be holding the event. If anyone requires the reasoning behind the demise of this worthwhile event, I am happy to answer any questions at the field of Sunday. Regards Peter

I have attached the awards that you are able to collect on your archery journey. So, depending on your division http://www.archery.org.au/Membership/Age-Classes the distances will be 60/50/40 adults, with juniors split between 50/40/30 and 40/30/20 on a full target face 122cm.... If you want to have a go- the AA fee is $10.00 payable on Sunday, but your names need to be in to me by tomorrow evening. No pay no play. Cheers Peter See more

17.01.2022 Hi This weekend is just full of archery events. Currently, on Saturday we have the Vets into Sports program which is struggling to attract numbers to be held. Sunday, we have the March QRE which is now open for entrants and the Newcastle round is also available for members to enjoy. The ground on Sunday was looking terrific thanks to Michael, George, and Andrew who took time on Wednesday to put a top finish onto the disaster that the contractors had done earlier that day. Ve...ry ordinary attempt by the professionals. Archery Australia Interclub challenge is on the 15th March - entry is through the club - see Peter for details and payment must be made very soon. $10.00 NQAA Championships are coming up next month on the Tablelands with the NQAA AGM and Terrie Nielson's commemorative dinner on the Saturday evening. Great to see you up there. New grant has been submitted for the mower. Let you know if the Vets into Sports goes ahead Thursday evening. Cheers Peter See more
