16.01.2022 Welcome Everyone! It is what turned out to be years in the making, but what a huge yet rewarding challenge it has been been for us to make this all happen. We are proud of the property and what it has become, and can't wait to show it off to the world. Our ultimate goal is to be able to share a bit of the farm with everyone, by offering a farmstay experience, a place of relaxation away from the big city, and in return asking for an extra pair of hands to help with the harvesting. Did we mention that there be an unlimited supply of personal fruit consumption? 07.01.2022 Townsville Tropical Fruits is a family business, owned and run by brothers of different mothers. Our farm is located north of Townsville, hidden away in the Wet Tropics of the Paluma Rainforest, a World Heritage Area. There are 125 acres of secluded property with approximately 300m Ollera Creek frontage. The tropical climate in North QLD can grow rare and exotic tropical fruits originally from the Amazon, south east Asia and the Caribbean - we have approximately 1600 exotic ...fruit trees and over 50 species. We run the farm with environmental sustainability in mind so future generations can enjoy this fruitful paradise. Our main commercial crops include lychees, rambutans, red papaya, star fruit and pomelo.
