08.01.2022 Toyesi is very proud to be assisting Flinders University in an exciting project focussing on Rainbowfish. They have purchased one of our heater/chiller Heat Pumps to control their water temperature at 21C. Understanding whether natural populations will be able to adapt to rapid environmental change is a major research priority in the 21st century. This project will answer fundamental questions about adaptation in an ecologically important group of fishes (rainbowfishes) and will contribute towards the sustainable management of both aquatic biodiversity and water resources in Australia.

07.01.2022 Toyesi Heat Pumps to Assist Australian Farmers As I do each morning I was going through Hortidaily for projects and information to learn more about the Horticulture, Protective Cropping and Hydroponic projects. This morning I came across this story "The climate-neutral greenhouse is getting closer and closer"... What caught my eye mostly about this story, is that this research group at Wageningen University in the Netherlands is creating as close to an emission free green house. They have moved away from gas heating and discharging waste water and have begun using Heat Pumps, Dehumidification and water recycling. One thing Toyesi has been heavily researching over the last few years is how our heat pump equipment can be used in the green house environment very similar to this research group. 06.01.2022 Exciting Geothermal Project Western Australia Working closely with our WA expert consultant in Geothermal Heating and Cooling projects, Geotec and Toyesi are working on utilising Toyesis efficient Air-Source Heat Pump alongside a Toyesi Water-Sourced Heat Pump to maximise energy efficiencies for a large swimming pool and house hydronic heating-cooling system. The system is being designed so that during summer where the heat available in the air outplays the ground temperatur...es, but then allowing the geothermal side to be used as a heat sink for the cooling within the house. The benefit of this also is that the ground is artificially boosted with heat for reuse during the winter months. During the cooler months when the ambient air temperatures drop consistently below 21 deg C the geothermal system takes over and provides both the pool and house with adequate and efficient heating all winter long. Although the capital outlay is greater than utilising just a gas heating system, we have run the figures and are predicting well over 60% to 70% savings per year in running costs, with a 2 to 3-year payback. Not just because we are using heat pump technology, but by combining both the Geothermal and Air-Sourced heat pumps we can maintain COPs of 5 to 8 all year round rather than having COPS drop off over winter. The project is likely to be finalised early in 2019 and we will be looking forward to seeing the project installed and fully operational prior to Autumn. #geotec #toyesi #geothermal
