24.01.2022 We've had a few questions lately regarding when we are making local deliveries so I though I'd give a quick update. BTW, tomorrow's a local delivery day! As part of minimising movement in the community under stage 4 restrictions and according to our COVIDsafe plan we have turned off our in-store pick-up and introduced free local delivery every 2nd day during the week and on Saturday mornings. So in short we deliver locally every Monday, Wednesday and Friday afternoon after 3...pm and Saturday mornings after 10am. We send an SMS with an ETA on the day so you know when to expect us. You can also get your stuff on the same day if you order before 2pm on weekday delivery days and 9:30am on Saturdays. 23.01.2022 WE ARE STILL OPEN With Melbourne going into stage 4 lockdown we will be switching to a free local delivery model + our usual contactless Australia Wide delivery through Australia Post. Shop via our website (www.toyplayhouse.com.au) and we will safely pack and deliver your toys. Our store in Newport will now be closed to local shoppers and click and collect will no longer be offered. But dont fret, we will deliver locally for free every Monday, Wednesday and Friday afternoon a...s well as Saturday mornings for those extra special weekend activities and screen free play. Our local deliveries are 100% contactless. We use SMS messages to make sure you are available before delivery, we then message again when at your door. We don't knock or stay to meet you making sure we keep our safe distance. Our packing process is also done in a regularly cleaned store (that customers can no long enter) by a single person wearing PPE, can't get much safer than that. 09.01.2022 We had a really busy local delivery schedule today, so thank you so much for all the love and support, its very much appreciated. If you still need anything for the weekend, I'm also doing deliveries tomorrow morning after 10am so if you place an order before 9:30am tomorrow I'll deliver it in the morning. I also found a great app that let's me route the deliveries and I used this today. I've been wanting to transisition to an environment friendly shipping bag and after testing different options have found an excellent option. These bags are 100% compostible in domestic and commercial compost environments and are Australian Certified AS5810 and AS4736.
