24.01.2022 Today we held our first HEROIC Day, where the Junior School students dressed up in the spirit of our School’s core values. It was so great to see what exemplified HEROIC to all the kids: We had doctors, nurses, emergency service workers, construction workers, teachers, artists, sporting heroes, environmentalists, soldiers... and the list goes on.
22.01.2022 Tutankhamun came to TPHS today via a roadshow incursion! Not only were the History students learning how to make papyrus, write using ancient symbols and using ancient maths techniques in classrooms, they were also able to visit a replica tomb and see the King Tut trailer complete with ancient Egyptian artefacts and theatrical multi-media displays!
21.01.2022 Now that the students have returned, it has been great to see the Library come to life again with readers, chess players and studiers from across the Senior School, as well as alumni visitors and book deliveries too! #pittwaterhouse
20.01.2022 Today will mark our Kindergarten's second swim lesson in the School pool. So beautiful to see their excited little faces!
20.01.2022 Our Junior School girls and then boys enjoyed the fun, competition and House spirit at today's Swim Carnivals!
19.01.2022 It was great to see how engaged the Year 10 Grammar students were in this morning's workshop with Tomorrow Man called 'Man and the Mask'. The workshop explored how fear of judgement and excessive 'banter' affects individuals and the cohort as a whole. The students were also asked to consider ways in which men protect themselves or hide from situations. Thanks for raising these important issues with our students.
19.01.2022 Our Junior School students have been bringing joy to aged care residents around the Northern Beaches. Each student from Kindergarten to Year 6 has been partnered with a resident and has developed for them an artwork inspired by gratitude. As well as writing letters to their new buddies, students have also recorded a performance for them to view at their leisure. A giant thank you to Mrs Garing of P6 and Ms Francis of J6 for making this such a successful and meaningful initiative for both the students and the residents.
18.01.2022 A huge congratulations to Yarra from College 8 who is now the National Future Problem Solving Champion in the Individual category!! Last Friday she participated in the finals, in a two hour exam on the topic 'Living in Poverty', and today she was notified she won the national finals!! She will next compete in June 2021, in the virtual International Future Problem Solving competition with almost 2,000 students from 14 competing countries. ... 17.01.2022 Our Year 12 students and their parents took time out of their busy lives to re-connect with each other through our Time and Space program on Tuesday 2 Feb. Luckily, there will be further opportunities for our Year 7 and 9 parents and students to connect at upcoming evenings in June and August, so be sure to get involved!
17.01.2022 On Tuesday night, we witnessed our TPHS mothers and mentors building even stronger connections with their Year 7 children at our Time & Space event. Bill Jenning’s fantastic program provides an opportunity for parents and children to step away from their busy lives and reconnect at a time when independence is becoming an important part of their adolescent's life.
16.01.2022 Today, Sustainability Group members from C8 and G9 harvested carrots grown using compost generated from the Canteen’s food waste! This is just one of the initiatives being undertaken by the Group whose mission is to reduce the School’s ecological impact on the land through waste management and gardening.
16.01.2022 What a fun-filled day our girls had at the College Swimming Carnival today! We missed having our lovely family supporters pool-side but the encouraging attitudes of the girls towards one another was in full display. Thanks to those who participated as well as the staff on hand to make the event run smoothly!
12.01.2022 Nothing beats a lesson in the pool especially on a beautiful summer day! So great to see these happy faces and hear the fun being had by our students splashing around in the pool again.
09.01.2022 Our Year 6 Debating Team have been extremely successful in the AISNSW virtual debating competition this year. After a valiant effort, Team B narrowly lost their semi-final debate yesterday, but it has been great to see the students' excellent individual progress as well as the supportive camaraderie between the two teams. Many thanks too to Mrs Webster and Mrs Garing for their coaching efforts.

Duncan shared his journey and depth of experience in the film industry. The students asked many questions and Duncan inspired and informed them in a way that only experience can provide. ... Many thanks for your time today, Duncan!

02.01.2022 In a new initiative, students from our Year 9 Accelerated Maths class are working with students from Year 1.
