10.01.2022 Today we introduce and warmly welcome Dr Rajvir Singh who commences with us at Tom Price and Paraburdoo Medical Centres this week. Dr Singh completed her medical training at Monash University in 2008, she then worked in hospitals across metropolitan and regional Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland before specialising in General Practice. She holds a Diploma of Child Health from the University of Sydney and a Masters of Public Health from Columbia University, New York. Dr... 07.01.2022 Meet Dr Etienne Cawood and his wife Antia. Etienne graduated from the University of Stellenbosch, in his native South Africa in 1994. Not your average doctor; Etienne has spent the last 25 years practicing in rural Zululand, South Africa, Indonesia, and Australia, before settling in Sydney with Antia and their two sons. Etienne is no stranger to the Pilbara and mining communities, having previously worked in Newman, Wickham, Jurien Bay, Southern Cross, Lake Grace, and Ravens...thorpe. Outside of medicine Etienne enjoys photography, chess, and philosophy. Antia leaves her position at Sydney’s Macquarie Grammar School to take residence in Tom Price. Antia is an experienced junior and senior school teacher; having worked in rural and metropolitan schools across Australia and abroad. Antia is an art and craft enthusiast and also enjoys bushwalking and nature. The Cawood family are particularly looking forward to exploring the Pilbara Region and all it has to offer. See more

02.01.2022 Due to an expressed need in our community, we are pleased to inform you that we have extended our operating hours. We will now offer appointments on Monday to Friday from 8:30am - 12:30pm and 2pm - 5:30pm and on Saturday mornings from 9am - 12pm.

02.01.2022 Meet Dr Johan du Preez and his family. Dr Du Preez studied in South Africa and worked there for two years in General Practice before leaving for Canada in 1997 where he met his wife, started a family and studied and obtained specialist skills and further qualifications in the areas of family and General Practice and Emergency Medicine. Johan worked in numerous locations in northern Alberta and Vancouver Island as a General Practitioner and Practice Partner and in tertiary ref...erral hospitals as an Emergency Physician. Johan and his wife and their daughter and son moved to Australia in 2016 where Johan obtained his Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and has been practicing in a Perth metropolitan General Practice for the past 4 years. Johan has a special interest in acute care and preventative care of acute/chronic disease processes across all age groups. He is well versed in skin checks and small procedures/excisions as well as acute injury management and is a strong believer in evidence based medicine. See more
