14.01.2022 With Spring now well and truly underway, we at #TPOWFitness know that a lot of you will be looking to get into shape to enjoy what we hope will be a very enjoyable summer. With that in mind, and on the back of our soon to be returning #SSC (Summer Shred Campaign) we've decided to give everyone a little extra motivation by each week presenting our exercise of the week to try and help you get the kick start you need. This week's chosen exercise revolves around giving yourself ...a bit of a wake up call and seeing just how fit you really are! With that in mind, we've chosen "Shuttle Runs"! - with our own variation! TPOWFITNESS' EXERCISE OF THE WEEK: SHUTTLE RUNS (TPOW STYLE) Shuttle Runs are simple: place 5-6 markers, at distances 5m apart. Start by running from the starter cone, to the first cone, then running backwards to the start. Then run to the second cone, and again return backwards to the start. Keep going until you've reached the final cone, returned to the start and consider that 1 set. Take 60-90 seconds and start again! Aim to complete at least 5 sets. TPOW's Tip - Make sure before you complete any high intensity exercise that you complete and adequate warm up. If you don't, your risk of injury increases dramatically.
