06.01.2022 Congratulations to the Northern Territory Parks and Wildlife Commission and Traditional Owners on the very first Plan of Management for the Limmen Bight Marine Park. A pristine area rich in culture, exceptional marine and bird-life, which thanks to your incredible efforts will now be protected for future generations to respectfully benefit from. Delighted I was able to provide some editing assistance towards the development of this Plan.
05.01.2022 The importance of a good sign! The first pic taken as we descended the thousand odd slippery stairs to #tegenunganwaterfall #ubud - photo 2 is a sign from my heart taken at the #ubudcoffeeplantation - final rather ambitious sign (if only it was that easy!) spied as we explored the streets of downtown #kuta ...ah #bali you have a fantastic sense of humour! Can’t wait to see you again X @ Bali, Indonesia
04.01.2022 Exciting things are happening in Timber Creek! For the past 18 months, I have been working with Traditional Owners, Northern Territory Parks and Wildlife and NT Infrastructure, Planning and Logistics on the Judbarra / Gregory National Park Visitor Center Interpretation Project. You may recall last year, we worked on the Interpretation and Concept Plan for the Centre. This year, I've partnered with the fabulous Leonie of Graphic'sll Do on sign design and Ngaliwurru-Wuli Association who have been busy preparing and painting the Centre ready for the new signs and furniture - it's looking great! Traditional Owners chose the fabulous colours, the exterior blue representing those endless dry season skies and the interior colours depicting earth and ochre. Stay tuned, next step will be the fit-out, can't wait!
03.01.2022 Creepy crawlies in your living room? Crocs in your dunny? Boogers in weird places? The kids and I have been working on a few books and songs over the past 12 months which may or may not be based on real life events Market testing done (thanks Hannah, Jodie, Josephine, Travis and Lexi), we are now ready to share this fun with the world! 1. Crikey! There’s a Croc in the Dunny! ... 2. Run Spider, Run! 3. Mum Finds Boogers in Weird Places Suitable for young children (big kids might enjoy them too, I certainly enjoyed writing them!), these big print books have been lovingly illustrated by my 9 and 10 year old for you to enjoy. To start sharing the fun, we have two sets of these books to give away. For a chance to win: 1. Like my page (if you haven’t already) 2. Tell me who you’d read this book to (son, granddaughter, husband!) 3. Share the love - tag someone who you think may like these books too. Competition closes 28 February 2019. And if you can’t wait, books are now available for sale through various online bookstores, just search the title and it should pop up with a range of sellers and prices. Stay tuned, more fun titles on the way
