25.01.2022 Yes, you can market your business on a global platform and social media and the internet has made that so much easier than ever before, but this is not going to be the key to success for your business. I highly recommend that instead you #GoLocal with your marketing efforts. Sometimes the best customers and clients are just a few kilometers away! So many business owners think that they need a bigger ‘pool’ of potential customers than what the reality really is, so don’t search far and wide, stay close to home (yours or your business home) and start to see a real difference to your business.

19.01.2022 Who’s on your team bus this year? Now this isn’t just employees, but this is also your greater team? Is your Accountant getting a ticket to ride your bus or is it time for a new one?... Sick of doing your own bookkeeping. Maybe time to outsource that task (which by the way is the EASIEST task in your business to outsource!) Who is on the cheers quad? Having good people around you not just staff is vital to growing a successful business. You don’t need to cut off friends who are negative, but maybe it is time to limit their time on the bus and certainly time to stop listening to their opinions and thoughts on your business. Get really clear on who is on and who is off your business this year.

17.01.2022 You know whats been really nice this weekend (and week)? In times of uncertainty and a bit of panic, Im the one checking on everyone and here to help happily- thats what I do. What has been super nice is the number of my clients - present and past - that have been contacting me to check if Im ok this week/weekend after a big week. Im so lucky that I get to work with so many GOOD people. My biggest lesson this week.... the power of just asking someone if they are ok and if there is anything you can do to help them.

17.01.2022 So yes, it has been some time since Ive been here on Facebook.. I dont know to be honest. COVID hit and I got really busy and as per usual, I put a greater focus on my clients than on my own to do list. I suppose that isnt bad, but it certainly feels like Im out of integrity. I always like to do the things that I tell my clients and Ive been at them all to keep up with their social media and here I am on my social media. or should I say Can anyone hear the crickets... on Traceys social media accounts? nothing! Ive made some changes to my business over COVID did you? Not the normal ones of just doing a lot more Zoom meetings dressed from the waist up and rocking PJs and slippers from the waist down. I mean have you looked at your goals, your direction and what you are doing and decided that things need to change? I did. So pretend we are starting our journey together again and Id love to welcome you to my home here on Facebook. Im Tracey. I help small business owners build more profitable businesses with less stress and struggle. Im a bit weird because I love to talk about business I think it is kind of my hobby to be honest as well as what I do day to day. Did you know that I cant say sayings.. like I always get them wrong! Forgive me now! Something that I do love to do is help people. You will find that on my socials, it is less about me taking selfies (my arms are way too short for me to take selfies Im only 5 foot 2) and more about me sharing things about business so if you are a business owner, you will love some of the tips and hints Ill share. 14.01.2022 When was the last time you just got out in nature and went for a walk? I love to go to the Gold Coast Botanical Gardens. They are only about 7 10 minutes from my house but it is such a lovely little walk to get out in nature and remember that there are things happening outside of my business and to enjoy life! Where do you like to go to get out in nature?

13.01.2022 Last week I finished up doing a round the country and New Zealand tour all on Zoom! One of my clients Kumon Australia had booked me to do this tour live and fly all over the country to present and it was due to start on the 1st of April. Yep, that didnt happen. But we changed it up and over the last 5 or 6 weeks we have been doing webinars live with all of the Franchisees (they call them Instructors) right around the country, a state at a time and of course New Zea...land. Firstly, what an awesome group they are. Full of all of these just 100% lovely people that work with kids and do such great work. Highly recommend them. They also adapted really well when COVID hit and did their best to continue the kids learning through a challenging time for everyone. And continue to do so! It is amazing how resilient we can all be in such times and Im sharing this story of one group of business people that have come together to really thrive, not just survive. What I took the most from them was that they never lost sight of who they were helping. In times like now it is so important to have what is called an Outward Focus that is, dont just be concerned with yourself (inward focus), look outward to your customers/clients. How can you help them? What more can you do? If you want to know the magic in business, this is one of the key tricks Outward focus.

09.01.2022 HIRING..... I have a client that is hiring a General Manager for their business to take the company from $6 Million to $10+ Million. Needs to be ready to drive a sales team and keep customer service high. Great business and would be a great position. 09.01.2022 Are you feeling flat? Lost some belief in yourself and maybe your ‘hope’ jar is empty? I find the fastest way to get back on track is to get outside and go for a walk. If you can take your shoes off and walk on the beach or in the grass, even better. The next thing is to put some good stuff back in that is listen to a podcast or an audio book or pick up a book and start reading. As little as 15 minutes of some new information going in, can put you back on track.... Sometimes it is the simple things that have the most effect.

08.01.2022 Have you done your business numbers for 2021 yet? What are your targets and goals? It is simple as saying..... 1. How much profit would I like to make this year? 2. How much revenue do I need to do to make that profit amount? 3. What is an average sale for my business? 4. So how many customers or sales do I need to make? 5. And how many leads/enquiries do I need to make that number of sales? Then create a to do list of what you need to do and make it happen! Business is simple, but it is you that will make it hard..

06.01.2022 Fun fact - I hate Ferris Wheels and in fact, they scare me! I dont know why Im not really afraid of heights (Ive even been sky diving) and they seem harmless enough, but I think it is the whole stopping at the top and swinging back and forwards that kind of freaks me out. We are all afraid of something. ... There is one school of thought that you should do what makes you scared to overcome the fear, move out of your comfort zone. Ive come to the conclusion that stepping out of your comfort zone is a good thing, but it should be stepping out, not taking giant leaps. What is something that is out of your comfort zone just a little that you could do this week?

06.01.2022 I was once told by a successful business owner that if you want to set big goals for your business then you need to get up ‘high’ to set them. Put yourself in an environment where you can see a long way. Trying to set goals at a desk in front of a blank wall is not the best idea when setting goals or a vision for your business. Have a vision to set your vision. Where do you like to do your goal setting?
