18.01.2022 We got talking about post workout recovery smoothies this morning as we were sharing about helping our muscles repair and restore by eating protein. A post workout smoothie is so perfect ( try and have within 45 mins if completing workout). **Good protein sources to add: Scoop of Whey or pea protein Greek yoghurt ( chiobani natural Greek yoghurt from Coles is the best)... Teaspoon Chia seeds Teaspoon nut butter Tablespoon of oatmeal Sprinkle of nuts/seeds Here is one of my fav GREEN SMOOTHIE recipes Vanilla protein powder Coconut or almond milk Ice Spinach Frozen banana Frozen pineapple or mango Tablespoon of oats (Blend all together) Another big bonus of upping protein in your diet is that it helps you feel fuller for longer, curbing cravings
