23.01.2022 The good life for me is being open for face-to-face business again! Though online consulting has been a good option for many, clients and I both agree that there is so much more value in being able to visit together. If you are wishing you could see me but are struggling with bills or have lost your job, get in touch and I will find a way to help you.

22.01.2022 My good life snacking rule is; if it’s protein and fibre rich, it’s good to go. This made creating a smoothie for Mayvers easy. I used 2tbs of Mayvers Protein Peanut butter and added fibre with a whole large apple and 1 date. With cup of your choice of milk, 2 ice cubes and tsp cinnamon, for its many nutritional benefits, it’s an easy, delicious snack suitable for everyone’s good life.

18.01.2022 Thrilled to have my collaboration and recipes with Mayvers promoted on Eativity News this week in their issue on the importance of prepping food to achieve work/life balance. Eativity share my philosophy of eating local and helping small producers. Visiting farmer's markets and buying the freshest of produce is easier for most of us these days, as there are so many venues spread through Melbourne's suburbs. Make this weekend ritual shop a part of your good life plan - it includes community vibes and chats, the freshest of produce, often discounted prices and invaluable knowledge direct from the producers. It's so much more fun than a supermarket shop and is allowable in our current lockdown situation - BONUS! https://eativitynews.com/prep-ahead-for-a-better-work-life/

16.01.2022 This Mayvers peanut butter recipe is the hero of the campaign and my kid’s favourite. Their good life always includes noodles and though you think noodles and peanut butter don’t mix, I assure you they do! With either spaghetti or rice noodles, it is surprisingly delicious with a great nutritional profile - think of it as a take on chicken satay. The recipe can be found here: https://mayvers.com.au/recip/simple-chicken-peanut-noodles/ or message me and I’ll send you a copy. If your good life includes chasing praise from hungry dependents, you should be very pleased with the results from this meal!

15.01.2022 Dying to put my board out today but Melbourne weather is not complying!

14.01.2022 It's time for my next Mayvers peanut butter recipe instalment. I created this high energy snack for high energy kids, living their good lives, playing their sport, having adventures and going to school. Unfortunately here in Melbourne at the moment, our kids are on the couch more than normal, so as much as these popcorn bars are delicious, it may be wise to wait until you need snacks for the school lunchbox. You can find this Popcorn Bar recipe at Mayvers.com.au or message me and I’ll send you the recipe sheet!

14.01.2022 My good life in lockdown on a rainy Melbourne morning needs something extra! These fritters were a huge hit and healthy - who needs bread when you can put eggs and bacon on these! I served them with my sauteed rainbow chard too, as we all need to keep up our greens. You can find the recipe here: www.traceymorter.com/blog-page

10.01.2022 The good life = quick, easy, nutritious lunches. Today’s scramble is not pretty but delicious. I always enjoy it when I include these foods (the flakes are seaweed dulse). And it keeps so well if you pre-make it. Take it to the office and microwave it later. #easylunch #eggs #lunchrecipes #lunchisserved ... #middlepark #albertpark #vitality #bayside #health #goodhealth #nutrition #healthtips #thegoodlife #nutritiontips #weightloss #loseweight #livebetter #livelonger See more

02.01.2022 Most hated word on the planet? Lockdown! Anyway, keeping up my good life today involves playing with one of my fave recipes - good old lentil Dahl. Many of my clients would know this one, but I’m changing it up by swapping half the lentils to yellow split peas, adding grated pumpkin and green peas! Mandatory listening is Groove Armada’s Superstylin' which gets the hips moving with the rhythm of the pot stirring Recipe here on my website: www.traceymorter.com/blog/2021/6/6/lentil-dahl-with-dippers

01.01.2022 It was so peaceful in the gardens alone this morning, a silver lining in our Melbourne situation. Did you know that you can access joy when you participate in nature? Recognising and acknowledging the patterns in nature creates a kind of satisfied joy in our very being. There are patterns to be found everywhere; in the way petals mirror around the centre of a flower, the leaves on a twig, the way things are planted or rings on a tree trunk. When you consider our break fro...m living totally immersed in nature is only recent in our evolution, it makes sense that we symbiotically need nature it for our wellbeing. My lovely friend Sharon Hall gifted me the book "Joyful" by Ingrid Fetell which has reminded me that we can enrich our good lives by looking for joy in the every day. The joyful feeling may be very fleeting, but the more of them we have in our day, the more of our good lives we are experiencing. Give it a try; a walk around the block will provide you with so many symmetrical and perfect patterns if you open your mind to look for them. See more
