15.01.2022 Sharing my entry for this years Martin Hanson exhibition. My piece was inspired by seeing the aboriginal singer songwriter Archie Roach at Woodford folk festiv...al last year and him telling the story about birthing trees and then watching him perform A child was born here. It is my favourite song of his. He is such a wise man and a inspiration to us all. Thank you to the Gladstone Regional Art Gallery staff and volunteers for making this exhibition possible and good luck to all the artists who have entered.
