I’m offering a two week period of reduced rates for Reiki and Yoga Nidra ,so people can experience these beautiful modalities. I’m passionate about helping people to reduce stress, relax, heal and sleep better ( which helps heal our body and soul). 15.01.2022 ~~ We often speak about the "Mother Wound" when pertaining to our biological mother, but if you look at western society you can see t...hat we suffer from the Great Mother Wound from lacking her presence in the spiritual foundation of our culture. Thousands of years ago, goddess worship began to shift into the worship of male figure head as the only creator archetype of the universe. While it's very possible there were developmental reasons for this shift at the time, this has left humanity with some serious physiological impacts that have led to many of the imbalances we face today. The development of our human psyches is in part shaped by the creation stories and myths of our culture. These myths are passed down through the ideals, values, traumas, and gifts within the family and society. One of the largest myths of the past several thousand years is that God is male and that the woman/ Goddess is something to fear and shame. It's easy to see how this has led to the dominance, control, silencing, and subjection of women... but how else has it impacted us on a phycological level? Some Imbalances in our psyches include: 1. The trauma of "God Fearing" and therefore fearing life and our own inherent goodness. This has led to shame and guilt passed on from generation to generation. 2. A disconnection between spirit and flesh. We were sold the idea that "God" is outside and above, rather than within, everywhere, and also nature 3. The disconnection from our Earth and a living entity to be cared for -- instead we dominate and pillage her. 4. The illusion of separation (that we are separate from God and each other) has led to emptiness on a soul level which has to spend addictions, depression greed, wars, etc. To heal these, we must consciously reconnect with the Great Mother.~ ~Holly Wilmeth See more
