25.01.2022 Mogo Day 6.. Well it has been another long day swinging the equinox with no results. I did a fair bit of YouTube and reading manuals and tutorials last night and I'm pretty sure i'm have things set up right so I'm going to do a location change in the morning. Not sure where yet. Oh and a local walked through my camp earlier and mentioned he had just seen someone post a 50k find worth of gold in Mogo. 21.01.2022 Mogo Day 5.. Swung the metal detector all day. Targeted quartzy areas and what i think were the mullock heaps from a mine. But the ground all looks the same, all sounds the same, i found a couple of bits of melted lead and 5 cents, pretty disheartening. 03.01.2022 Mogo Day 3.. panning this creek today, I may have found some gold but it was microscopic dust so small I wasnt really sure. I was going to move tomorrow morning looking for somewhere better but I almost want to stay because I was asked to leave. There is a car rally going past my campsute on Saturday and it's right on a wicked corner. It would be an awesome vantage point but the event is not supposed to have spectators.

02.01.2022 Mogo Day 4.. Mostly spent the day seeing the sights and finding a new camp. Did help a guy towing a horse float that ran out of fuel on the roundabout North of the Batemans bridge. I paid a visit to the metal detecting shop in Batemans hoping he did lessons, which he does but only every so often in groups Anyway i had done some research for the new camp. There were a couple of ways to get there. I picked the wrong way but was to far in to consider backing out of the tight track, so I had to clear a heap of track only to get to the spot and see the trails from the other direction were clear.
