25.01.2022 With all these Local Victorian state Covid 19 close downs and restrictions I wasn’t sure if We could get this suspension back to Western Australia in time for there state MX round coming up Pumped to see Shane Murray get back on a bike again , I’m sure the former no 1 still has it We give him a kitted KYB shock and a matching set of reworked SSS fork cartridges for him to fit strait back into his YZ 250 f Jess got the suspension over to GKR Transport ( sponsor) and on there way back , testing this weekend then on the gate the following

24.01.2022 YZ 250 f Ktm 250 sxf Class leading bikes both are in for complete setups to suit there riders Improvement to low and high speed feel the YZ custom spring rate change

23.01.2022 Hey guys next time your in ( hopefully soon ) ask for a tee shirt Got all sizes here I won’t send any out in the mail just yet but we will set up a post out system in near future When Jess takes over some of the work load

21.01.2022 Beta 300 rr If you are riding with the ZF Sachs or even the normal sachs Suspension and your bike starts to feel pretty bad , has a few hrs clocked up even if just cruising around normal trails think about servicing your suspension, You will surprised how much better your bike will feel , while your forks are apart we do a small upgrade to rebound side which improves the feel a lot in the slower creek beds , rocks, ect ... The shock fluid holds up better than the fork , but will still loose its viscosity even though it looks clean , This bike received new bushes , seals , polished fork tubes with micro cross hatch Settings pre set , sag adjusted Ready to hit the local single tracks We have seen first hand even a simple fresh oil change can revive the handling of these bikes See more

21.01.2022 Winter is well and truely set in , so how do you adjust your suspension, to Carrie the extra weight of mud , first off minor steps or you will go to far away from your good setting Simply reduce you sag by around 2 to 3 mm Example if you run 38 mm static take it to 35 mm this will give you that little bit more firmness but settle with the extra weight and also help the spring do its job returning back up the stroke after bumps Compression I would normally only go 1 click ha...rder or 2 at most Rebound is the important one try going out ( faster by 2 to 3 clicks ) this will help the bikes suspension return nicer Front fork A little preload is the key if you have external adjuster, be careful not to go to hard on compression as you will get that harsh feeling So open up the Reb a couple clicks to help if you like Wet Conditions make for slower riding so set your suspension according Hope this helps ,

20.01.2022 Sneak peak at Matt Rotin from propower factory hardware milling our Explor fork cone valve compression assembly upgrade to suit all current WP Explor forks , our own design and proven amongst all our customers Australia wide , we wanted a part that everyone would go for budget wise but also something very advanced and really make a big difference , also keeping up with new technologies and not just converting the fork back to the old open chamber style which is all we see , More compression control equals much improved fork action Only available as part of our normal setups PM for details Trac rite suspension

19.01.2022 Friday lunch break Would be nice to hit the local pub for lunch Way to busy for that here , instead we hit some local trails dialling in Steve Kidd New YZ 250 f ,well worth the effort we set a really nice baseline setting , evaluated some possible future changes , and left the trail very happy , very very big change to these bikes to setup for serious off-road riding , Maccas drive through done the job on the way back ... Sorry no action shots of Steve , but he does get along pretty good One hour spent only a couple clicks changed Positive result You can receive this same attention , testing pays off See more

Xplor fork cone midvalve upgrade Custom fork and shock valving Hundreds of hours of valuable feedback and testing Message or call for information on your setup Happy to advise See more

18.01.2022 Looks like I have no choice to hold back on any new bookings , at least for the next 2 weeks , will see how time goes after that Emergency service fork seals ect will be ok and will be done quick turn around to keep you on the bike But with it being such a crazy year I have a responsibility to catch up on all projects and long term jobs , and there’s lots of them Cheers

17.01.2022 We are still working as normal , most setups and servicing can be done as you need them Cheers

17.01.2022 Couple jobs just out , first one one of our WA riders wanted to replace his 49 mm showa forks on his KXF 450 even with the spring kit fitted there only average at best He got hold of some 48 mm KYB sss forks which we then done a nice Lug swap to the Kawi style axel/brakes ect we then rebuilt the forks with offroad spec setup , the bike will be a lot better to ride now at any speed , Another nice fork build we did was kit out some KTM 85 forks with some Ohlins dual chamber Inserts . Coated the lower tubes in some black nitride coatings, matching springs , no comparison to the AER std open chamber setup , Any of your suspension questions on what works and what doesn’t just send us a PM happy to advise

15.01.2022 EX 300 Ninja track bike in getting some TLC to its handling, aim is to improve fork anti dive characteristics , we have a few tricks to sort that out , very basic suspension in these machines so to run them at higher speeds you want to be safe , rear will be adjusted as well to suit the rider Unfortunately we don’t have time to take on to many road machines but we do have a nice bunch of riders we work with to keep us ticking along

14.01.2022 Coulple of early jobs to finish off , KLR 650 adventure bike shock , then a fork service on this RMZ 250 then off to Broadford to watch a bunch of kids race MX ,

13.01.2022 Hi guys First I have to say considering what’s happening we have been going along nicely over the past few months our work load has included a lot of project bike stuff as that’s what everyone is doing atm , working from home has been a bonus in this situation , receiving stuff has been a bit of a pain but we work that out , normal work has continued and now starting to ramp up again with 21 models already coming in , After twisting and weaving my way around everyday , Luke... has built the new workshop I’ve told a lot of you guys about is now up and the fit out has started , I will be doing most of this with Luke helping and the help of all my bike tradie mates , looking forward to much bigger and better work space , it’s been a long time coming , Jess will be looking after the office , packing sending, receivables , merchandise, and a bunch of other stuff to help free me up , plus I’m no good at office stuff anyway so I really need help in that department , we also have a very dedicated person that we will bring in on a part time bases to help out with some jobs , looking forward to showing you all our new workshop soon , onward and upward Stay safe Darren See more

11.01.2022 YZ 125 Has to be one of the best bikes ever made , we have been building suspension for these bikes since the SSS fork was introduced in 2006 and for years before that Same mods apply all the way through the years , we have got a little extra out of them lately through R&D knowledge, testing and rider feedback This one received our typical A grade 125 package only settled down a little with softer spring rates to suit the rider , we added a special KYB shock adjuster housing to reduce big hit blow through and high speed wollow , while stil keeping the shock nice and active, forks coated in black TiALN coating ( DLC) and lugs coated in Cerakote, Note , all std KYB pistons as there perfect for these setups ,

10.01.2022 Late model KTM 50 and 65 owners Fork servicing correctly is more specific than all the big bikes Special tools and knowledge is required You can’t just throw a couple new seals in and she be good Oil is concealed in lower tube which the service tool is required to access , ... You can not set oil level with out doing this The Air piston is concealed in lower tube also and must be serviced as part of the job Also don’t waist your time with any aftermarket seals only use SKF /WP you won’t have any problems later Don’t hesitate to PM about any mods or upgrade kits to improve the forks Cheers See more

08.01.2022 Here’s a look at team Maben racing Mason Boucher No 1 KTM 85 Sx Mason is the current Aussie offroad 85 champion We set up masons bike with Ohlins fork internals and rear shock , mason says the bike is unreal through the bush and holds up nicely when he practices MX , this combo is as good as you will get and matches the factory WP in performance in this application, Mason is happy and so are we ... Call us before you spend and happy to offer our advice on your set up See more
