24.01.2022 After 5 years of planning and design we are delighted to see planning approval granted by the Minister for Planning to rezone land to facilitate the CORA development at Modewarre in the Surf Coast Hinterland. Our town planners and landscape architects have been working closely with the CORA client and @wbaarchitects to create the vision for the conservation of seasonal wetlands and the sustainable development of the land for luxury accommodation, a wellness spa, elite sports ...training facilities, a sports science hub, sculpture park, a retail and hospitality precinct together with an organic farm. The CORA project is estimated to involve a $350 million investment creating 1000 jobs during construction and up to 500 jobs during operation making it a significant economic project for the region that can support the burgeoning tourism market. Our town planning and landscape architecture teams continue to assist the client in advancing the project through the next phases of the planning process to create a truly world class development that will have global appeal. #geelong #regionalvictoria #surfcoast #tourism #wellness #elitesports #townplanning #landscapearchitecture #architecture #conservation #sustainabledevelopment #urbanplanning

21.01.2022 After more than three years, we are thrilled to reveal our Park Sydney Stage 1 project has been successfully delivered by @richardcrookesconstructions. We are proud to have collaborated with @wmkarchitecture in developing our award-winning competition entry as part of the @cityofsydney design excellence process for the Ashmore Precinct one of the largest urban development projects in Sydney. The design draws upon the fine grain urban fabric established within the surroundi...ng suburbs of Erskineville and Ashmore and celebrates their unique and diverse characteristics as reflected within the built form and various landscape areas found within the mixed-use residential development with net-zero energy comprises; activated and residential street frontages, publicly accessible laneway, fig tree garden, podium courtyards, private balconies, common roof gardens, vegetable gardens and native green roofs with solar panels. We look forward to watching the latest part of Erskineville contribute to the local neighbourhood and build upon the thriving social and environmental context in which the local community continues to flourish. @greenlandaustralia #goldenhorseaustralia #parksydney #erskineville #masterplanned #landscapearchitecture #community #urbanrenewal #celebrate #innerwest #outdoors #greenlandaustralia #parks #greenery

16.01.2022 Today we celebrate UN International Day of the World’s Indigenous Peoples and particularly acknowledge the Wurundjeri People of the Kulin Nation. We are delight...ed to share this fantastic project by AWF Network Partner Tract. Tract is supporting the Carlton Neighbourhood Learning Centre to create an Indigenous Garden within its current Balam-Balam community garden on its site in inner suburban Melbourne. The purpose of the garden is to celebrate indigenous culture and to acknowledge the location of the CNLC on Wurundjeri land. The garden will include a range of local indigenous plants with a focus on water conservation as well as native food and medicinal plants to showcase to the community. The completion date is planned for November 2020 (COVID permitting) hopefully to be marked with an opening ceremony! A big thank you to all involved from CNLC, Tract and the indigenous community for making this such a positive project in difficult times! @cnlcmelbourne @tractconsultants #wurundjericountry #un4indigenous #designlikeyougiveadamn

14.01.2022 Engaged by Lendlease as the Urban and Landscape designers for bridge, active transport networks and landscape, Tract drew contextual inspiration for the Northern Connector design from Barker’s Inlet, surrounding market gardens, salt pans and crystalline forms as well as the habitat of migratory bird species that utilise the wetlands. These are represented in the forms of the bridges, abutment walls, screens and plantings to provide habitat connections along the 15.5 km North...ern Connector. The six-lane freeway with an SUP along its full length provides the missing freight and commuter link between the Northern Expressway, Superway and Port River Expressway. @dfit_sa @lendlease @arupgroup @ecodynamicsgroup @sweetlimephoto Aboriginal Country - Kaurna @aila_sa #AILASA2021Awards #AILA #landscapearchitectureawards #infrastructure #adelaide #northernconnector #landscapearchitecture #design

08.01.2022 AILA NSW 2020 EXCELLENCE AWARD WINNER // INFRASTRUCTURE // Gore Hill by Tract "The Gore Hill project displays an innovative approach to infrastructure and the d...evelopment of integrated open space. Clear and active collaboration between the Willoughby City Council, the architects and the engineers led by Tract has resulted in a coherent masterplan. The landscape architects have demonstrated leadership through a strong solution driven approach, leading to a socially and environmentally beneficial scheme. Notably solutions such as the management of site levels to reduce the need to export contaminated materials, the development of a water management system in association with the synthetic surface profile to provide a solution to address storm events and the provision of an ‘all access playground’ testify to the project’s success and commendation. The complex nature of the brief has been effortlessly delivered by Tract, allowing the project site to act as a catalyst to link the broader neighbourhood." @tractconsultants

08.01.2022 The newly refurbished Geelong West Oval Pavilion and precinct has been officially opened. Home to the Geelong West Giants, Geelong West Cricket Club and Geelong Cycling Club, the West Oval has a long history and is highly valued by the local community. It was therefore critical that both the architectural and landscape design responded sympathetically to the historic pavilion building and grounds while also providing significant upgrades of existing facilities for netball, AF...L and cricket. We are proud to be associated with the upgrade of this highly valued community facility and the integral part it plays in transforming Geelong West Oval into a regional-level facility capable of hosting AFLW and VFL games. It is our hope this project will bring it one step closer to achieving this goal. @cityofgreatergeelong @brand.architects.australia @creoconsultantsau @plangroup_australia @sporteng_ #cundal #landscapearchitecture #architecture #design #sustainablearchitecture #communityhub #communitysports #sportsclubs #grassroots #geelongcommunity #geelongwestgiants #geelongcyclingclub
