02.01.2022 Choosing the right platform for your site depends on a heap of different factors, but #SEO isn't one of them. SEO is Search Engine Optimisation - and it's about the information (and links) you include on your site and NOT the platform itself which determines your ranking. So those people who tell you to avoid certain platforms because they're "no good for SEO" are just spouting a load of hot air.... Also: SEO is also a multi-faceted, ongoing task - so again - don't listen to those people who say they'll "SEO" your site and you can kind of "set and forget". YOU CAN'T. Having said that, the basics of SEO are fairly simple, and if you cover off those, you'll be waaaaaay ahead of the vast majority of websites out there. Want to learn more about SEO? I created all the branding (I LOVE the logo! - This association is all about connection and growth, and I think the logo fits perfectly), and designed and built the site. This is an academic NFP NGO, and the site functions purely as an information hub for the group, and their biennial conference.... What do you think? https://aassrec.org
