16.01.2022 Could Monday get any better.. for the next 2 weeks we have the pleasure of watching these little guys hatch from the eggs, grow and thrive .. we will be following the life cycle of the chickens and enjoying lots of chicky cuddles.. by the end of the 2 weeks we will have up to 15 little chickens to enjoy Thanks to Henny Penny for setting us up ..

08.01.2022 Who’s been seeing lots of butterflies in the garden lately..we have . And it’s always a wow moment. Check out this little guy, he is the monarch butterfly caterpillar.. he creates the most beautiful cocoon.. don’t be afraid to use the correct terminology when talking to children about nature . So if you happen to come across one whilst your in the garden , consider yourself blessed.

08.01.2022 I love a diy project and this week we have begun to create a new garden space for the children to explore . The area will be complete with a secret path, a bridge , birdhouse and fragrant plantings . During our planting of the garden yesterday we had the amazing experience of a ladybug landing on my arm. She stayed a while, a few minutes, long enough for us all to experience her beauty. She wandered peacefully up and down my arm without bother , we were eagerly taking in her beauty. And when time came she flew off into our new garden . I hope she makes our garden home and stays a while.

05.01.2022 It’s play as usual here at Tracy’s place . We are practicing all of the recommendations regarding increased hygiene and restrictions to social contact . We all know that Family day care is a low risk option when it comes to illness in child care. Play is the best way to remind ourselves of how the simple life and positive relationships can keep the calm. When you create a village, I love that our families all come together in times of uncertainty . Respecting each other’s families and the children in care.
