21.01.2022 The fun thing about working in a 160 year old building is that sometimes you find this under your desk.

15.01.2022 Did you join us at the Change The Rules rally on Wednesday? Unionists visiting from interstate were as impressed in 1887 with Melbourne's union power as they are today.

10.01.2022 This union ticket was handed over to a Trades Hall volunteer at a polling place yesterday. It is just beautiful that a family has taken care of this for 64 years, and now entrusts us with its preservation for future generations. And good on this Printing Industry member for keeping up more than 32 years of union membership!

08.01.2022 We're getting in some pretty great memorabilia from the community. When Gough was sacked, 10,000 unionists filled Melbourne in protest, and others gathered at Liberal HQ. The intersection of the labour movement with the Labor Party is just one of the themes we will be exploring in our new museum. You can share your stories and items with us at www.tradeshall.org.au/community

08.01.2022 Friends, this page has been quiet for a while but we're ready to update you on some amazing progress! Heritage restoration works are under way, and we've started work on a brand new museum for the hall. Tell us - what do you want from this page? Do you have history to share?

01.01.2022 "We shall fly a rebel flag... And sing a rebel song." Do you remember music playing a part in your union history?
