12.01.2022 Always use an experienced tradesman to sand back your asset before painting, an angle grinder used correctly can add value to an old building, we use 24 grit ( blue disc) on hardwood’and 36 grit once worn on soft timber’s , and an orbital sander with 120 grit for silky oak window and frames , oil primer for tannin rich timber’s with 15 percent penetrol mixed inn will nourish the timber deeply and also treat the nail heads . We Add mould inhibitor to following coats to keep the building looking fresh for years .

Check out these photos of the difference made to this old Queenslander in just 2 days. This house is a family project which has been abandoned for many years now, the exterior was mostly done during the 'covid break' and now a big push to make the interior livable again. Still a lot of work to go as you can see but what a difference a bit (well a few cases actually) of gap and a some Dulux Wash n Wear can make!!!
