18.01.2022 Volunteer Appreciation Post With a shortage of volunteers due to COVID-19 and additional sanitation measures implemented at The Shire Donor Centre, our volunteers stepped up to fill the gaps - helping sanitize as well as provide snacks and drinks to blood and plasma donors. Since late March, they have volunteered almost 250 hours at the centre and it absolutely made our day to receive this lovely feedback on how their contribution has made a difference . "We couldn’t... do what we do without the assistance of our wonderful volunteers!! When Covid-19 hit most of our volunteers went into lockdown and stayed home. This left us with a gap at the donor centre and quite a hole to fill . As always the Tradies staff stepped up and filled our roster thanks to the great co-ordination by Kathryn. Thank you for ensuring the donors had a good experience with your wonderful customer service giving our fabulous donors a great experience. Thank you for enabling us to continue our lifesaving work.
