23.01.2022 This year, despite challenging times for schools, businesses and community organisations, we received 29 iPromise Grant applications adding up to over $230,000! Our judging panel were impressed with the innovative ideas to address this year’s theme ‘Water Conservation’ and applauded all of our applicants for their efforts to conserve resources and reduce their environmental impact. We thank our judging panel from Rana Environmental, Power Waste Management and the NSW Office... of Planning, Industry & Environment for their expertise and involvement in judging the applications and congratulate our 9 grant recipients! In total this year, we'll be contributing $20,349 to help bring these water conservation projects to life. Some other fun facts about the iPromise Grants... We started the program in 2014 Since then, we have received over 430 applications We have funded 60 sustainability projects across NSW including vegetable gardens, water-wise irrigation systems, rain water tanks, chicken coops, environmental education programs, native bee hives and more! In total, the iPromise Grants have provided $104,000 in funding for environmental sustainability projects Next year, we'll be focusing on supporting projects that aim to improve energy efficiency Watch this space!

13.01.2022 With school holidays upon us and many people's holiday plans cancelled, we know that many of our members will be very pleased to hear that....the outdoor playground will be re-opening tomorrow! Please be aware that it is re-opening under strict conditions: -Maximum 15 children at any one time -Children MUST be supervised at all times... -The playground will close at 7:30pm sharp Our team will be cleaning frequently touched surfaces throughout the day and a hand sanitizing station has been installed. Our cleaning crew will also be thoroughly cleaning the equipment each evening. Please understand that this a trial re-opening and we do still need to install a sound proof wall. Also, due to the return of stricter COVID conditions, the indoor kids club has again been closed. We understand that this is frustrating and apologise for the inconvenience. Across all Tradies venues, both members & guests will be required to check in via the Service NSW app. To help make this process quicker and smoother for everyone, we recommend downloading the Service NSW app and activating an account prior to visiting.
