21.01.2022 This is a page where tradies can come to donate their time, to help people affected by the Aussie bushfires. Our country is on fire, and many people are suffering. We don’t seem to have enough resources to save all the property, human lives and wildlife. Despite all of this, there is still plenty that we can all do. In the aftermath of these fires, there will be a lot of rebuilding to do, and anyone who has the skills and the heart to help with this, will be in high demand.... This page has been created to help facilitate this. The plan is to connect skilled tradesman, labourers, or anyone willing to donate their time, with the people that need them the most. Whether you are a tradesman, labourer, heavy equipment operator, truck driver, or just someone willing to lend a hand. Your time will be greatly appreciated. Please spread this page far and wide. Share it with anyone that you think may be able to help.

21.01.2022 Hi everyone. We have received this message from someone who is urgent need of help. If you are able to help with this, please message us as soon as possible. We are needing someone woth a truck to do a run from Sydney (tahmoor) to the south coast (cobargo) My uncle lost his house and everything he owned and we have a whole stack of donated items and furniture to go down but are finding it difficult to source trucks or utes that don’t charge an arm and a leg. We have two ut...es but it’s not enough. Any help would be greatly appreciated We are close to going live with the website, but in the meantime we will post any urgent requests for help on the Facebook page/group. Thanks.

20.01.2022 Have you registered as a volunteer at our website? If so, we ask that you please take another look at our database of people needing help. This database is continually growing, and there may not have been someone that you could help, when you first registered. https://tradiesforthebushfirerebuild.com.au/here-to-help/

20.01.2022 Monetary donations are not making it to the people who need it. This means that people who are uninsured, or who are insured by companies that are refusing to pay out, are left to clean up their properties and rebuild their homes themselves. If you would like to help, please register at our website. Registration takes less than a minute, and will enable you access to our database of people who need your help. We do not handle monetary donation, and we never will. www.TradiesfortheBushfireRebuild.com.au

18.01.2022 #BACKTOBILPIN SPREAD THE WORD - BILPIN IS OPEN! Bilpin, the Land of the Mountain Apple, suffered from raging bushfires up and down the Bells Line of Road over... the peak Christmas period. Bilpin is a boutique tourism hot spot well known for its B&Bs, apple orchards, fruit picking, organic produce, ciders and open gardens. Just 90 minutes from Sydney, it is a great day trip or weekend away. Like many regions throughout Australia, the unforgiving Christmas fires hit right in the peak of the tourism season. Local small businesses now need our help. Hawkesbury City Councillor Sarah Richards along with Lionel Buckett from wollemi wilderness cabins, Michael Sperling from Bilpin Country Lodge, Bilpin and head of Blue Mountains Accommodation and Tourism Association, and residents Michael and Jane Hughes came together to workshop ideas to let tourists know it was safe to return. #BACKTOBILPIN was born! We are asking you to LIKE AND SHARE this page so we can get the word out to locals, Sydneysiders and tourists to come for a drive to Bilpin and visit our small businesses. #BACKTOBILPIN NEEDS YOUR HELP. Over the coming days and weeks, we will regularly feature local businesses and provide links to their pages. Together, we hope this small grassroots campaign can revitalise the Bilpin economy. Visit www.visitbilpin.com, www.visitbluemountains.com.au and www.discoverthehawkesbury.com.au to plan your day. 18.01.2022 Not sure how you can make a difference in the Australian Bushfire crisis? There are so many things you can do to help, take a look at the below ways you can get involved. Make sure you check out the Tradies for the Bushfire Rebuild page where we are connecting tradies to people in need.

16.01.2022 Hi everyone. We have received a message from someone who requires urgent assistance in the Batemans Bay area. If you are able to help with this, please message us as soon as possible. Hi.. Not sure if this is the right page for me.. I recently lost all fencing, garden, cubby house and retaining walls... I have found some help with these but my main worry is 3 large fire damage gum trees.. Is there anyone in your group they may be able to help remove them? Thank you.

14.01.2022 Hi everyone. We have received another message from someone who needs a hand. It sounds like they have lost just about everything, so if you are able to help at all, please send us a message and we will put you directly in touch. Hi! My mother lost her house, a small studio cabin and numerous tool and machinery sheds in the NYE bushfires. Just wondering if there would be anyone available to help us rebuild a simple shed so that we can start catching some water for the survivi...ng concrete tank and store our animal feed. We have a large property and although we have lost a lot of trees we could possibly use the unburnt trunks of stringy barks for a rough round pole shed. It would mean the world to my mum to be able to know that she can store her winter bales and collect much needed rainwater. We are in Eurobodalla, a small suburb just behind Bodalla on the south coast of NSW. Thank you.

14.01.2022 We have had such an overwhelming response of people wishing to help Our website should be up and running shortly! In the meantime, please contact us directly if you require immediate assistance.

14.01.2022 Not a tradie? Not a problem! Many of the people needing help on our website also need land cleared, cleaners and other manual work done. This means that if you are a labourer, or have a ute, truck or heavy equipment, you can still be a huge help in these communities. Registration only takes less than a minute, then you have access to our database of people who need your help. www.TradiesfortheBushfireRebuild.com.au
