03.01.2022 The Completion Ceremony of Tanabe City's new Budokan was celebrated in Tanabe City (Wakayama Prefecture) on October 24th (Sat). The "Ueshiba Morihei Memorial Mu...seum" was established as an annex of the new Budokan, so visitors can easily access information about the Founder's life and achievements. Aikido Hombu Dojo-cho Ueshiba Mitsuteru attended the ceremony as Doshu Ueshiba Moriteru's representative. Dojo-cho received the letter of appointment from the Mayor of Tanabe City (Mr. Manago Mitsutoshi) on behalf of Doshu, who had been appointed as Honorary Director of the Ueshiba Morihei Memorial Museum. Afterwards, Dojo-cho read Doshu's greeting letter. 1024
