25.01.2022 Venturers completing OAS vertical lvl 1 tonight. Learning one program and having fun doing it. Lead Tassie Assist nil participate all. Was an awesome night with many enjoying the challenge.

25.01.2022 Week one term one, teaching how to set a goal and successfully work towards it. Group leader hosted it tonight to show how he has grown and set goals for 1st Salisbury Scout group. Was amazing to see the youth not only set goals for venturers but also for their schooling. Was an awesome night. With McDonald’s as a reward at the end of the talk. Awesome job venturers.

24.01.2022 We are looking for an enthusiastic adult who would like to lead our venturer unit. We are seeking a person who likes to have fun, guide and be a role model for 15-18 year olds. Venturers is ran on a Friday evening 7-10pm. If interested please pm this page

23.01.2022 Our first Zoom session meeting went very well tonight. Scouting in a whole new way. It has been exciting and a new way of doing things. Next week is unit council and a driveway venturer night where we will have our zoom meeting on our driveways to show the stars we see. The week after we will have a kahoot meeting. so much fun to be had.

22.01.2022 Postponed due to COVID will be in 2021 2020 - ex members from Trailblazers to a meet and greet night, we are seeking all ex-members and ex-Leaders to come along to the night hosted by current members. We will be celebrating 30 years the Den has been open and 2 Queen's Scouts after 25 years from the Unit. With plans for a yearly get together, we invite all ex members and please pass on the message and keep the date free 7:30 pm, 4th Sep 2020. Looking forward to seeing you all there.

10.01.2022 My Unit Rules 2019 Congratulations to Phoenix, One Tree Hill Venturers on taking home the honours in 2019. Well done to all who joined in and was a great night. We had some scouts and cubs as judges and they really enjoyed the meals. Food looked very good.

08.01.2022 It begins midnight vigil. So proud of these venturers, scouts and rover. With 9 youth and 2 leaders. So proud of this group. Amazing job. Huge Thankyou for dingo from Mawson lakes scout group assisting tonight it is greatly appreciated.

07.01.2022 With holidays at an end a few little jobs have been completed. All the awards past and present are on display with a corner of the den dedicated to the achievements of the youth as well as the service of leaders to the section. The history of the unit is important as a few people have proudly been or led the venturers. Don’t forget our welcome night as we present our completed room and enjoy chatting with all the ex venturers.

03.01.2022 Trailblazer Venturers is located at Salisbury, with the den located at 1st Salisbury Scout Group. We assist 14-18 year old youth build resilience, responsibility, respect, create Leaders and be the best version of themselves. Venturers have their own unit council which govern and run the venturers with adults guiding. We have 4 registered leaders, 2 male and 2 female and 3 of them advanced venturer leaders. An awesome team that make it such a laugh and challenge the youth to ...become contributing adults. Our venturers pay there own fees via vouchers from assisting at fundraising activities and in most cases there is no cost to parents. Venturers should be responsible for their own costs. Training them ready for rovers and making them responsible for their venturing journey. All course costs are covered by the unit including initiative, leadership, unit management, first aid, retreat and super splash. As we aim for venturers to have a great experience while at venturers. We are currently seeking a few more youth as we currently have space for 6 more. If you are a linking scout we open our arms for you to give it a try. We are offering a free term for all new registrations to our unit. If you are interested we meet at 1st Salisbury scout hall Friday nights from 7:30pm - 10:30pm, During the term. to confirm where they will be sms 0434145583 to find out if they are in the hall as we do activities out side the hall.

03.01.2022 Annual how to survive a kidnapping night. Have a laugh at the video and photos. Well done on getting back to the hall. How does it work we drop them at an unknown location with a compass. We tell them 25 degrees to find the hall. They get a small first aid kit and take water. Aim is to find hall before venturers time finishes. We track there progress via an emergency phone in the first aid kit. They are venturers if I said let’s drop you and you walk back to hall they would moan. By taking their phones off them and making it more exciting it made this the highest attended event of the year.

02.01.2022 Salisbury Christmas Parade today and the venturers were proud of their new banner. Well done on an awesome representation and awesome to see you out there.

01.01.2022 Tonight’s Scout Own, with a new group of venturers and linking scouts it was time to add a personal touch to the Den. Every group that comes through venturers on their way to rovers has left their mark. Great work venturers.

01.01.2022 Firstly a huge thank you to whoever handed in one of our venturers purse last night to the lost and found it was appreciated. One very shocked venturer for leaving it on the train. But to the gentleman in the orange vest with Adelaide metro and beard, your aggression towards our youth was unacceptable and didn’t have the ability to see the youth was upset. If I could give a feed back it would be a minus 10. I still can’t believe you treat people like that. Boarder line bullying We had a fun night in the city.
