09.01.2022 11 years ago today my mentor, father and legend of a man departed us. We miss him, we love him, he will never be forgotten. Ironically, tomorrow is the old school Haines boats reunion on the Coast. I know he will be there in spirit. Everyone have rumbo for Dad Your grandchildren are doing you proud. Love ya Greg Haines

Yes thanks to Sonya Kilkenny MP and the rest of your Labour cronies Launching Way is t...he complete fucking debacle we predicted from your complete inability to manage. That’s not to mention the disgusting treatment of Trevor Hogan, Lynette Hogan and Shaun Mulcahy who managed the site exceptionally well for so many years and have now been presented with untenable lease for the shop, and lost the tender for the traffic management of the car park. To add insult to injury DEWLP didn’t even have the courtesy to inform the Hogan’s that they had lost the tender! It was given to a traffic management company! (Probably more underhand unionized "mates" deals!) Well here’s the grand result! Car park full at 5.15 AM. Bullshit!, the carpark certainly wasn’t full, and they hadn’t even bothered to open the overflow carpark allowing a further 90 cars with trailers! Boaters turned away in droves! Go to Mordialloc or Frankston they advise! That proves how little they know of boating in the area. Mordialloc does not have the capacity for the majority of trailer boats, and Frankston is downright DANGEROUS plus the car park is now full of food and coffee vending machines! This is an absolute disgrace that feeds right back to the top! And they were all fully warned we held a rally and told you so! Better Boating Victoria and indeed much of the Boating Industry Victoria didn’t even bother attending, nor providing support for our grass roots boating icons. Oh that’s right, how could we expect Dan Andrews to remember the advice given him on launching ramps! He can’t even remember being responsible for the COVID security guard debacle! DEWLP, the ministers office and Better Boating Victoria have some serious questions to answer here.
