25.01.2022 I’m looking for some help. With the help of Jake (pictured ) JCP Youth has ran some motorbike days for kids across Tasmania. Getting them off our streets and ...into safe and ‘semi’ controlled environments. It’s a huge draw card for a lot of youth and something I’m looking to grow. These are big asks. I know. But I know the potential outcome, so my post is worth it. Do you (or someone you know) have a decent motorbike sitting around that you no longer use? Do you have any motorbike safety gear that you no longer use (helmets, gloves, etc) Are you involved with motorcross and know a good contact person who would be willing to discuss some options for extremely talented youth to participate in the sport (plenty of prior experience getting away from the ) Recent events in Northern Tasmania showcase that motorbikes on our streets can be deadly for our young people. Almost all applications to open a track (especially near suburbs that need them) are constantly knocked back by councils. If I can get some bikes, equipment and gear - it opens a pathway for us to work with young people on a bigger scale with our programs. We are lucky to have a space to use - just limited gear. As an organisation that receives no funding and does not receive any grants - this is just outside our scope to self fund. So I’m asking for community help. 13.01.2022 MEANDER EVENT UPDATE! Unfortunately the TERC Committee has been left with no choice but to cancel our event at Meander on Saturday. The Meander area has receive...d in excess of 50mm of rain in 12 hours with more forecast tonight, as you can see from the photo below the water is just sitting in the paddock and with 250 entries this would put over 1000 bikes over the track in just round 1, the track would not stand a chance. All refunds will be processed by Sunday evening. The Grasstrack championship will stand from the last Grasstrack. We will be packing up the track on Saturday at 8am if anyone is available. Sorry for the inconvenience this has caused to all that have entered, please know this decision was not made lightly and we all wish we could be racing this weekend. We hope to see you all at our final race event for the year for the Junior 4 Hour Enduro on Saturday 31st October and the Senior 8 Hour Enduro on Sunday 1st November. Keep an eye on our website and social media for further details.

Realised how anti social it is to own a Japanese dirt bike and simply go riding in the bush , at least with shercos and KTM, you get to know the people you ride with due to the amount of time spent talking to each other as they work on them. Thanks very much Lindsay and Anthony for a perfect lead /sweep job and those who came along.... Good luck with new bike Jesse, hopefully you will get it sorted
