25.01.2022 What a gorgeous day! So incredibly cold but surprisingly sunny and made it truly a memorable experience for guests and us alike. Despite a threat of rain, even a possibility of snow we still persevered with the walk today and were rewarded with brilliant sunshine. In anticipation of cold weather we set up the picnic inside Cope Hut but a seat in the sun was blissful. Being host to fabulous guest like Larry, Maureen and Claire really made our day. Some of our first participants since the impact of bushfires on visitation. It is a slow recovery period and hope that we will see more of you here

19.01.2022 Open - and so much of Victoria is. We are all want to help for those who have lost so much by the fires already, and apart from donations that address immediate... needs, there is not much many of us can all do until the danger has past and rebuilding can begin. One of the best way to support a community is to support the businesses who operate in them, that employ the people that live there. It helps them find purpose and mentally can be beneficially to help get people back on track. In the meantime, if you really want to support those impacted by fires, look at this list and make some decisions about travelling and staying in places who are struggling right now and have had to close or evacuate for the last couple of weeks, during an important holiday period. 17.01.2022 An update on the fire situation as of this evening: Today has seen almost 5mm of rain fall in the resort with more forecast tonight. Despite this, fire activit...y has today moved to within 6km of the Falls Creek village area. The forecast for increasing fire risk during the coming week means the resort will remain CLOSED until Monday 13th January 2020. Re-assessment of risk will occur at this time and further advice will be provided. Thank you for your ongoing concern and support
