10.01.2022 Event 3- Farmers Walk 100kg (per hand) (For 40m) If there's one event I was happy with in this comp it was this one! I'd never carried 100kg in either hand before this comp, so I was stoked to perform so well on the day! Grip strength is definitely coming along nicely for me and I can see myself hitting bigger numbers soon.

04.01.2022 Event 2 at the ASA qualifier was MAX AXEL DEADLIFT This one was all about grip. An axel bar on is generally around 45mm thick if I'm not mistaken, whereas a standard bar is around 28-32mm thick. Watching the video back I was much closer to 125kg than I thought... I got this weight in training twice so I wasn't content with my performance on this one either. I do think it's a cool event however. ... #southernstrengthseries #MORESPINACH #Popeye See more
