21.01.2022 Working late into the dark yesterday we were teaching little Skippy how to return even when he is very very excited! Recall is the single most important skill a dog can learn, knowing that your dog will come back when something exciting/scary/tasty is on their mind is essential. After one session, Skippy's family now have the techniques to start getting a reliable response from their fearless little sausage. 20.01.2022 Just finished training a new client in the rain. Their little anxious dog went from being terrified of dogs to politely greeting mastiff in just one hour! The most amazing turn around. All credit to the owners for training their dog in the pouring rain too!

18.01.2022 This is Hugo. Hugo has a loving dedicated owner who has tried to help him for 5 years with the aid of various trainers but despite this he is still a very nervous boy. We started work with Hugo two weeks ago, using positive techniques and making him feel more confident and in control. Two weeks ago he could not see another dog (even 50 metres away) without non stop barking and attempts to charge in and bite. Today he met ten different dogs up close in the park including spoodles, cavoodles, jack Russells, staffies, retrievers, daschunds and more... 16.01.2022 Just saw a dog trainer in the park running a class of 10. Most attendees seemed to be completely lost to his instructions and he wasn't getting around to them at all. At one point he just said 'No, no, no, no' over and over as a client tried to work out how he was supposed to be working with his dog. If he hasn't learned that, that isn't how people are trained, I don't know how he expects to train them to communicate with a separate species.

16.01.2022 If you and your fur baby are ready to hit the country now that restrictions have eased, you won't find a better spot than Little River Log Cabins. Just outside of Tumut, this is a dog paradise with dog loving owners and only a few cabins. Direct river frontage that is shallow enough for paddlers or deepee further out for swimmers. Some dog friendly accomodation is only "dog tolerant", not these owners. Graeme and Christine will adore your doggo as if it were theirs. Give your pooch the adventure holiday it deserves.

15.01.2022 One of our loyalest and cutest customers came around for a fitting today. Needed to make sure the cut of her new waterproof rainjacket (tartan lined) was fitting. Jemma also has a custom Westie patch in case anyone forgets who she is!

11.01.2022 Accomplices first day back in uniform after lockdown. She is going to need a bit of reinforcing, one two tiny greeting barks, but otherwise she did exceptionally well. Retraining is just a part of life with a working dog and she's ready for the challenge.
