24.01.2022 Next stop... Batman station! Batman railway station is located on the Upfield line. It serves the northern Melbourne suburb of Coburg A little bit of history for our Melbourne fans ... Did you know Batman station first opened on 8 October 1889 as Bell Park station? It closed on 13 July 1903 and reopened on 1 October 1914 as Batman station. It was named after one of the founders of Melbourne, John Batman Stay tuned for our next stop!

Did You Know Frankston Station features briefly in the 1959 Hollywood movie ‘On the Beach’ Located east, north and south of Frankston station are a number of sidings that are used to stable trains at night A 70ft turntable existed at Frankston station until the mid 1960s On 10 June 1975, the Long Island steel freight train ran into the back of a six-carriage suburban Hitachi train sitting at platform 2 at Frankston station. The Hitachi carriage was only a few months old and was the first to be scrapped from the Hitachi fleet

Richmond railway station is located on the Alamein, Belgrave, Cranbourne, Frankston, Glen Waverley, Lilydale, Pakenham and Sandringham lines It opened on 12 December 1859 as Swan Street and was renamed Richmond on 1 January 1867 ... Fast facts! In 2018/19, Richmond was the ninth-busiest station in metropolitan Melbourne with 4.17 million boardings per year! Richmond station has ten platforms connected by three subways, and is the junction of all of Melbourne's eastern and south eastern rail lines A special events entrance at the western end is opened during events at the Melbourne Cricket Ground, Melbourne Park and AAMI Park In 2025, the Pakenham and Cranbourne lines will cease stopping at Richmond station as part of the new Metro Tunnel project Richmond station has been relocated and rebuilt four times

We’ve launched pre-sales for our Sydney edition which is due to hit our warehouse (lounge room) very soon... We have new stock of our Melbourne edition on the way, featuring a new tin container design We’ve been working hard on bringing to life more fun editions of The Train Game for our customers to enjoy AND Drum Roll..... This week, we launched our NEW WEBSITE! We’re a small family business, so these things don’t just happen by themselves. We don’t have the big dollars to throw around for website developers, graphic designers and marketing experts. We rely heavily on our amazing family and friends who donate their time and energy to help us bring The Train Game to families and kitchen tables all over Australia. A HUGE shout out to my brother Daniel and his beautiful fiancé Jerusha for helping us get our new website off the ground You guys have been AMAZING! There were definitely a few headaches along the way but we got there!
