We created their RIW cards, conducted their Category 3 Rail Medicals and our trainer Josh worked with them get their V/Line Track Awareness. 24.01.2022 Over the weekend we held a VLine Track Awareness course. On Friday we had a call from a company who needed one of their employees out first thing Monday morning. Kylie, our Training Coordinator walked his team through the process on how to set up a RIW company portal, helped fast track his certificates and then on the weekend, we were able to direct upload his VLine Track Awareness, allowing him to get out on site today.... "The National Operator Roles Matrix lists the roles specific to Rail Operators requirements, and is to be selected for the specific rail operator the cardholder will be working for. It is to be selected along with the relevant national role aligned to the work the person is undertaking. For example QR - Operator is selected with the Rail Labourer National role if this is the... work being undertaken by the person. Yesterday our TFPC 3.2 class was practicing placing stop boards and limit boards on our simulated track before heading over to Newport Rail Academy today for another day of practical activities. When our V/Line trainer Paul isn't upskilling the next generation of Safeworkers, he is working as a TFPC 3.2 on the Shepparton Line Upgrade Early Works.... 15.01.2022 Chances are you have seen the Wayne Cleaning System's team throughout the V/Line network. It has been a pleasure to work with Maria and the team over the last couple of months to assist getting her team rail ready. Thank you for the kinds words! ... "Wayne Cleaning Systems provides a range of residential and commercial cleaning services across Victoria including works across the V/Line network and Level Crossings. We reached out to Training Ahead (TAA) in November 2020 to assist during a growth phase. We had a large number of staff to onboard and was looking for a one stop solution to get our staff rail ready on the V/Line network. The team at Training Ahead have been very accommodating. They have put on extra classes to suit our workforce schedule and helped guide us through the whole process. Training Ahead organise our Category 3 Rail medicals, V/Line Track Awareness training, Rail Industry Workers Cards and answer any questions we might have about the V/Line network. I would highly recommend using the TAA team for anything RIWC and rail related! - Maria"

"The National Rail Industry Worker Governance Committee (NRIWGC) has recently reviewed all national job role matrices which outline the core minimum requirements accepted by participating networks and organisations. The RIWC system has some fantastic features that companies often don't realise, like the reporting capabilities for expiry dates etc and the ability to swipe teams in and out.
