If you are anything like me and say you will do your ab exercises at the end of your workout but never actually end up doing them Try these tips to target those abs without dreading the end of workout ab circuit. ... Add an ab exercise in between sets of your workout Pause before lifts and brace your abs to focus on really engaging your core muscles Start off your workout with 3 an exercises as a warm up Try unilateral exercises that engage your core for balance There are so many ways we use our abs in a workout without directly doing sit ups or a plank hold. These coloured bumper plates are designed for these types of exercises and can handle being dropped if you do fail a lift or let go of your bar in a deadlift.... We have 2 main lifting platforms with many other places you can still load up a barbell and lift. 02.01.2022 Attention Members & Guests of Trainstation Gym 247 In response to the recent Covid-19 Pandemic please consider the following whilst using the facility. STAFFED HOURS:... We are making changes to our staffed hours to accommodate extra cleaning, the facilities will still remain accessible 24/7 but the reception will have times throughout the day where staffing is reallocated to cleaning rather than administration. Monday - Friday: 8:00am - 8:00pm (7am-8am & 8pm-9pm will be spent on cleaning equipment) Saturdays and Sundays remain the same Our staff will still be on-site and the phones will be manned, however, all access outside of these times needs to be through the 24/7 door as we will be cleaning equipment KIDS STATION: Kids Station hours will be operating as normal, However, if any child has any flu-like symptoms including coughing will be asked to leave immediately. This is for the safety of all members and children. As always, All toys, equipment, tables & chairs are disinfected by staff after each session, Morning & Night. We ask that if your child shows any symptoms of COVID-19 which include but not limited to: -Runny nose -Sore throat -Coughing -Fever -Difficulty breathing (severe cases) Please keep your child at home or take directly to the hospital to avoid the disappointment of being asked to leave. GROUP FITNESS: Classes will run as normal at this time, however, all members are required to come with a towel to train, Please also wipe down equipment after classes CASUAL VISITS: Towel required to train. Please also wipe down equipment after a session. HYGIENE: Our cleaners have added time to their usual cleaning to disinfect handles and benches throughout the club Fitwipes are available, please be aware that there is a supply shortage so only take 1 each time you need to use them Wash your hands and consider showering prior to attending the gym to ensure best hygiene practices are carried out as an individual NO TOWEL = NO TRAIN Gym peak periods are the following 9:00 am - 11:00 am and 4:00 pm - 7:30 pm
