24.01.2022 Mrs Clay and Mrs Hooton thought today was the perfect day to get our gumboots on and go puddle hunting. As you can see, we found some nice deep puddles and enjoyed jumping, splashing and getting each other wet.

23.01.2022 On Tuesday and Thursday during lunch, the Senior School Humanities Department, as part of HASS week, organised and participated in two Staff versus Student Volleyball matches. It was a great way of informing students about the difference between Communism and Capitalism, as each side represented a different political ideology. In the end it was the Capitalists who came out on top, with the students winning both the Year 12 and Year 10 matches. I would like to thank all the students who participated and supported the matches, as well as the staff for participating in a wonderful display of talent and comradery.

14.01.2022 Congratulations to Amy Greenash, Year 11 whose artwork Beneath the Surface has been selected as a finalist for The Lester Prize Youth Awards. With over 200 applicants and only 30 students selected as finalists, this is a huge achievement and very exciting for Amy and her Art Teacher, Mrs Louise Hardwick. The Lester Prize Youth Award encourages the creative talents of young, aspiring and emerging artists. The Youth Award allows entrants to showcase their works and present their unique artistic perspectives; helps build their confidence to further their art practice; and allows them to share their stories with the wider community. Congratulations Amy.

10.01.2022 Dancesport and Tranby College 20 year connection Dancesport has been a very successful part of our culture at Tranby College for nearly 20 years. Tranby College offers students from Year 3 to 6 the opportunity to savour the exhilaration of Dancesport, from progressive dances, Hip Hop, Cha Cha Cha, to the dynamic Samba. Debbie Godenzi, Studio Principal of DanceZone WA continues to be amazed at the enthusiasm and rhythm displayed by our students. This ongoing program has enco...uraged many students to become involved with Dancesport at a competitive level. Did You Know - Dancesport was first introduced to Tranby College by keen dancers and staff members, Brad and Cheryl Taylor 20 years ago, when the College was in its infancy. Here are some photos of Debbie taking our students through their paces.
