19.01.2022 I am an avid gardener and appreciate the many benefits the plants provide us. One is cleaner air and they are also a great decor. We often feel unsure which varieties of plants are suitable for indoor and how to properly care for them. Here are my two favourites indoor plants due to its easy to care character. 1. Anthurium Andraeanum is great for indoor. It has a long, dark-green leathery leaves and produce beautiful, red, pink and white heart-shaped flowers which is long ...lasting - it can last for weeks. This plant requires bright light but not direct sun. It can grow up to 45cm high, fertilised every two weeks in spring and summer with a high-phosphorus liquid fertiliser. 2. Monstera deliciosa or Swiss cheese plant has lush green leaves with distinctive holes, it is stunning and can grow easily. Place away from direct sunlight. It likes to climb so I would recommend that you use some kind of stake or trellis for support. Fertilise monthly particulary if you planted it in containers. I clean the leaves with soft, damp cloth to keep it shiny. I actually enjoy cleaning the leaves as it helps me relax, it becomes a form of meditation for me. Happy gardening.

13.01.2022 This vacuum cleaner was clean before we used it. This dust came from one clean only on a standard 4 bedrooms house. Our carpet may look clean but it harbours so much dust. 09.01.2022 Let's talk about mold....... Mold don't like Essential Oils. They are enemies. Here are some of the essential oils I use to clean and to treat mold:... - Clove - Thyme - Cinnamon - Tea Tree - Oregano (oregano essential oil is one of the most potent essential oils). Remember, these spices are not just for cooking. Eucalyptus oil can also remove mold on non-porous surfaces such as glass and stainless steel but.....It will do nothing to kill mold on porous materials. You can mix 1 part eucalyptus oil, one part methylated spirits with two cups of water. DIFFUSING.... If you own a diffuser, you can diffuse Cinnamon, Thyme and Clove essential oil. It freshens the room and it is healthy too. If you don't own a diffuser, I recommend you buy one. SPRAY PREPARATION..... To make your essential oil spray, put teaspoon of 100% essential oil into a litre of water and put in a spray bottle. Spray onto the moldy areas, leave for few hours, then wipe off with wet microfibre cloths. For old and stubborn mold, scrubbing with a brush will assist in removing the mold. NOTE: always patch test first to ensure that it will not damage the surface BLEACH vs VINEGAR..... Both of these products will get rid of mold. The issue that I have with bleach is its toxicity and it only get rid of mold spores on the surface. Vinegar is much more effective for removing and penetrating mold from porous materials and it will get rid of the mold at the roots. Happy cleaning

There are many recipes in how we can make our own hand sanitiser. Mine is using doTerra On Guard essential oil mix with Aloe Vera. Ingredients: - 1 tablespoon aloe vera gel - 20 drops doTerra On Guard essential oil... - Water Directions: - in an 8oz glass spray bottle, combine aloe vera and doTerra On Guard essential oil - Fill the rest of bottle with water - Shake until combined - To use, spray on hands and rub together doTerra On Guard is a Protective Blend, a mix of several essential oils: -Wild Orange - supports a healthy immune system and promote overall health. -Clove - supports the immune system due to its high level of antioxidants. - Eucalyptus - purifies surfaces, aromatically, it cleanses the air and is emotionally uplifting. -Cinnamon -promotes healthy immune system. - Rosemary - promotes healthy respiratory function, reduces fatigue, and calms tension. 07.01.2022 Our yard maintenance work at Bonogin this morning. It was a great day, not too hot and with a lovely breeze. We love what we do. It was very fulfilling to see the tidy yard after clearing the overgrown and dead branches from the trees. Happy gardening everyone.
