If so, Tranquil Vale is launching a series of online, boutique style tastings that will bring the Cellar Door experiences right into your living room. How it works: We have a variety of different tasting packs available - www.tranquilvale.com.au/wines . You and your friends can buy whichever sparks your interest and your wine will be delivered to your door (or doors!)... Next, simply contact us to set up a time for an exclusive, private tasting for you and your friends with our winemaker, Connie and wine expert Emma Shaw (owner of Pique Nique). Connie and Emma bring a wealth of knowledge and experience about wine making, viticulture, food pairing, tasting techniques and the wine industry. Enter our virtual tasting room where you can wine down - just sip, relax, chat and learn a thing or two with our expert and your friends - together (but socially distanced). Alternatively, if you and your mates cant agree on a tasting pack or a time, we will be holding some live tastings via Facebook - so you can get out your wine and taste along. Check out our tasting packs today! For our first "live" tasting will be sampling our "Classic Hunter" tasting pack (2019 Semillon, 2018 Shiraz, 2019 Chardonnay). 21.01.2022 Picked when this little boy was only 3 months old... Keiran is now learning to walk, and this little Chardy is getting ready for bottling soon! The beauty of winemaking, like children, is that every vintage is unique. 2020 was (and is) a challenging year for a multitude of reasons, but our Chardonnay and Semillon this year have turned out to be little gems. Small yields (due to drought, fires and birds), but incredible fruit that have become exquisite wines. We cant wait to share them with you in the Cellar Door soon!

08.01.2022 At Tranquil Vale our top priority is keeping all of our customers and visitors safe and helping them to relax and enjoy a few glasses of the good stuff. Our accommodation is operating as normal yes we do have toilet paper! We wanted to let you know about a few steps we are taking to ensure that you can truly unwind and get away from the chaos during your stay. We have always maintained very high housekeeping standards. In addition to these we will be double washing all croc...kery, cutlery and glassware, and disinfecting all surfaces, light switches and door handles with alcohol prior to the arrival of any of our guests. Communal areas our gym, barbeque and pool will be thoroughly cleaned daily. Our cellar door is lovely; small and quiet - the perfect place to sample some wine away from the crowds. We will also be setting up an additional service area just outside to ensure that our Cellar Door never has more than 8 people inside at any given time. Rest assured that all glasses and crockery (for sampling our delicious sourdough and olive oils) are facetiously cleaned prior to each tasting that we give. Finally, if you do have to self-isolate during this time, remember that you can always order Tranquil Vale wines online at www.tranquilvale.com.au/wines. and remember self-isolation with wine is really just a house party! ;-D Sending you all some tranquil vibes during these crazy times. 06.01.2022 Vineyard days - we are busy in the vineyard this time of year preparing for the vintage ahead. While our lovely vines are dormant we are ripping in between the rows - literally ripping a trench to cut through the roots - why? Think about it as underground pruning, by cutting the roots we are stimulating new and deeper roots to grow.

05.01.2022 Yesterday we sent our 2019 Shiraz off to be bottled after a lot of blood, sweat, tears and 20 months in the barrel! It sure was a cold, wet day to be washing barrels, but its a small price to pay to produce this gem of a wine. This is definitely one to look out for - we are so excited to share it with you in the years to come!

We were tasting our Hunter Valley Classic tasting pack from with Emma from Pique Nique wines.
