Today I supported Louisa Cruz, who was destined to do her first rotto swim crossing today, finish what she started and swim 20km in Gnarabup Bay instead. The swim spoke volumes about the power of partnership & community, the freedom we experience in taking on something big & finding a way to continue irrespective of the size of the obstacles. This off season Suze & I have been learning all about the threat posed by the lethal Marri Canker disease to one of our tall beauties the Marri tree. We are therefore directing our collective fight against the Marri Canker disease through A Tee or a MARRI Tree for Trans Ca...pe SwimRun 2021. A simple initiative that gives you the choice to forego your event shirt and instead have the equivalent money donated to the Marri Tree Project.
