Language The language we choose to use influences our interpretation of a situation and the meaning we draw from a situation. Take note of the language you use. Choose the language that will bring on the emotional state you want to be feeling... Physiology This includes posture, facial expression, breathing, gestures and speed of movements. By changing our physiology we can change our emotional state. Which means that we can better anticipate and manage our response to how we experience the world. See more

23.01.2022 Nothing has meaning until we give it meaning, we all make sense of the world in different ways. This can be a powerful realization it can help us to see beyond our present emotional state and work out how we got there. We have the ability to interpret and reinterpret events and experiences in any way we choose. If we are happy, sad, satisfied, dissatisfied, stressed or relaxed it is entirely our choice, if you dont like it well its up to you to choose to change it.

10.01.2022 What I learned from Schrodingers Cat... First, what is it? Schrodingers Cat was a thought experiment divided by a physicist Erwin Schrodinger, the scenario presents a hypothetical cat that is put in a sealed box with a flask of poison. The interpretation of quantum mechanics implies that after a while the cat is both alive and dead, yet when the box is opened the cat will be either alive, dead not both. You cant know until you look. ... This is all well and good but how does that help you every day? Well, we encounter these boxes all the time, being asked into the bosses office, waiting for test results, can we talk from a partner, all of these are boxed cats. We cant know what will happen if the result will be good or bad until the box is opened. So you can decide to think the worst (the cat is dead) or the best (the cat is alive) or just open the box and find out, either way, the sooner you do, the sooner you can move on.

07.01.2022 Fear can be overwhelming, it can stop us in our tracks and turn our back on our goals and who we really want to be and achieve in life. Fear is an unpleasant emotion caused by the threat of danger, pain or harm, it is our reaction to the threat, not the actual thing it is the possibility of what could happen the unknown, a story we have made up. To run away from fear is to run away from life, all amazing things in life are preceded by some level of fear. The first time you s...ay I love you to someone, presenting your ideas in a meeting, joining a new class, volunteering for a new role, leading your family through a crisis. The key is to look the fear straight on and see it for what it is and stop making up stories, assess the risks if you are willing to accept them, carry on without the fear of what might happen and enjoy the journey knowing you will be able to handle whatever comes up along the way.
