Major Geoffrey McCrae, 19 July 1916, Fromelles, France A short while later, McCrae went over the top with his battalion and was killed, shot through the neck, early in the Batt...le of Fromelles. It's a rallying ...song for all Catholics to put their trust in Our Blessed Mother because we know that no matter what evil prevails in our time, in the end her Immaculate Heart will triumph! O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee! Join in the battle cry: Immaculate she was conceived, God’s perfect masterpiece She leads the armies of our God against the evil foe. In the end she’ll crush his head And he lies and waits in dread The pure and humble woman who was promised long ago The Immaculate Chorus She’s the glorious one She’s as bright as the sun Like an army in array She’s our strong defense She’s our confidence For she is so full of grace She shields from harm with open arms Her children and her slaves The Immaculate Through the years the battles raged Fierce wars the Church has waged. In her dangers, in her needs, she calls for help on high. Mary always hastens there Close to hear the fervent prayers All the enemies of God, our Queen has put to flight The Immaculate Now when this war is at its height The name of Mary is our battle cry. For she’s our queen in command She will lead the advance And our hearts we consecrate To the conquering woman whose loving hand will defend our Catholic Faith!
04.01.2022 Happy Feast of All Saints! :) How happy are the poor in spirit Seeing the crowds, Jesus went up the hill. There he sat down and was joined by his disciples. Then he began to speak. This is what he taught them: ‘How happy are the poor in spirit;... theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Happy the gentle: they shall have the earth for their heritage. Happy those who mourn: they shall be comforted. Happy those who hunger and thirst for what is right: they shall be satisfied. Happy the merciful: they shall have mercy shown them. Happy the pure in heart: they shall see God. Happy the peacemakers: they shall be called sons of God. Happy those who are persecuted in the cause of right: theirs is the kingdom of heaven. ‘Happy are you when people abuse you and persecute you and speak all kinds of calumny against you on my account. Rejoice and be glad, for your reward will be great in heaven.’ [Matthew 5:1-12a]

O Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I offer You my prayers, works, joys and sufferings of this day for all the intentions of ...Your Sacred Heart, in union with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass throughout the world, in reparation for my sins, for all the poor souls in purgatory, for the intentions of all my relatives and friends, and in particular for the intentions of the Holy Father. I wish to gain all the indulgences attached to the prayers I shall say and the good works I shall perform this day. Amen.
