23.01.2022 A different take on tiling a stepdown into our clients living area. We cut down pieces of the existing timber flooring for the faces of the steps and topped it off with some beautiful sandstone-look tiles with chrome trim.

22.01.2022 This renovation shows how taking down a few walls can really open up your bathroom space. This was originally a separate toilet adjacent to the bathroom. By knocking down the walls in between, and relocating the entrance we were able to create a spacious square room with easy access to all areas. We created a walk in shower with double floor channels for maximum drainage. We shifted the vanity to a new position meaning we could fit in this stylish free-standing bath. The client had recently installed plantation shutters into the bathroom which were removed, and reinstalled later in the renovation with an added architrave. With subway tiles on the wall and huge 800x800mm porcelain tiles on the floor, this has definitely been one of our favourite finished products.

11.01.2022 Awesome before and after shots of this ensuite. We upped the tile heights from skirting to ceiling height, and removed the existing window that went to the floor, bricked up the opening and installed a new window. A new custom vanity was supplied and installed by our experienced cabinet makers. We also removed a bulky shower-over-spa-bath to create a nice big shower with a recessed shelf for storage.

10.01.2022 A last minute challenge for us before the Christmas break with these elongated hexagon tiles. Its added some real depth to this kitchen renovation.

10.01.2022 Check out these super realistic Wood-look tiles in this brand new kitchen. Never worry again about spilling liquids, swelling, scratching or discolouration. Chipped tile? Not a worry. We can simply cut the chipped tile out, remove and replace it with a fresh one.

09.01.2022 Tiling over the top of existing tiles is not an ideal situation but sometimes its necessary. In this situation the existing hexagon tiles were sitting on a 30mm screed, meaning if removed, the entire house would need levelling and screeding. We removed any loose hexagon tiles and grinded and primed the floors. We were able to save our client thousands of dollars in screeding and levelling whilst maintaining a solid floor throughout.

07.01.2022 Do you know how easy it is to create a theatre room? We enclosed an open lounge area with an insulated stud wall and solid door to create this stylish space where one can escape the stresses of life, with a glass of wine and a good movie. Or you can escape the kids and lock the door.

06.01.2022 This whole splashback is a single tile, believe it or not! Its always great to expand my skillset by trying new forms of tiling. This tile started out as an 2.4x1.2 metre tile that we cut down to size. As there is a marble pattern through the tile, there was literally no room for mistakes. High stakes, high reward. The final product is an absolute beauty! Much cheaper than a glass splashback, with the same practical properties.

01.01.2022 Weve begun preparations for the removal of a main structural wall within our property. This wall will open up the space between the living room and kitchen. The reason weve removed this section of ceiling is to allow space for our carpenters to install a huge LVL beam into the ceiling. This will facilitate the redirection of the ceiling and roof load.
