15.01.2022 FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTION BEFORE BARIATRIC SURGERY #3 Your first visit to a dietitian will likely include collecting information about your medical history, discussing your motivations for surgery, talking through your current eating patterns and answering any questions you may have about nutrition. If needed, it may involve addressing any dietary habits that may impact on the success of your surgery.... Follow up visits will discuss your progress, pre and post surgery dietary requirements and ongoing support for symptoms that may arise. #weightlosssurgery #weightlossfaqs

10.01.2022 Weight can only be stored on the body in the presence of INSULIN. With a lot of insulin floating around in your bloodstream, it becomes very easy to store weight and very hard to lose it again. When we constantly eat foods that increase our blood insulin levels, it transports glucose out of bloodstream and into cells to be stored.... Insulin is a very important hormone If you don't have it, you will die. So it is important to have insulin, but not good to have too much. Here are the top 6 things that increased your insulin level. https://www.hubtransformed.com//top-6-things-that-increase #medicalweightlossprogram #weightloss

04.01.2022 Have you been feeling sore and pain after the big run or an intense exercise? This pain is called Delay Onset Muscle Soreness (DOMS). Delayed onset muscle soren...ess (DOMS) is the pain and stiffness felt in muscles several hours to days (up to 24 48 hours post exercise session) after unaccustomed or strenuous exercise. An example of this would be when you commence a new exercise program that you have never done before or have progressed the intensity of your exercise. DOMS is a normal response and it means the muscles are adapting to the exercise and usually means that you have done the right amount of exercise to promote your muscles to get stronger. If exercise is performed correctly with good technique and progressed regularly the benefits will be noticed, but for long term benefits, you need to perform it regularly! However, if you're not sure whether your pain is good or bad, check out this blog written by one of our Accredited Exercise Physiologist on how should exercise feel. https://www.hubtransformed.com/post/how-should-exercise-feel
