07.01.2022 Recently one of one of our staff members James was personally impacted by the accident that heartbreakingly took the life of 5 year old Alannah Sobolewski on the 17th of March as she was hit and killed on the pedestrian crossing in Plumpton. James has started a petition with the help of Blacktown council in an attempt to have traffic lights installed at the pedestrian crossing on Rooty Hill Road North Plumpton, where Alannah lost her life. The accident was an avoidable one.... However, nothing can change what has occurred, but we can look at what failed and make the necessary changes so we never see another life cut short in the same way. The system currently in place is inadequate and clearly ineffective in providing pedestrians with a safe crossing point. The installation of Traffic lights will not impede the heavy traffic flow when not in use whilst providing pedestrians with a safe crossing point proving itself to be the best solution. Attached is the link for the petition and it will only take a couple of minutes of your time to complete. With everyone’s support we can get the necessary changes made before another avoidable accident occurs. 04.01.2022 Each year David and I support the Special Children's Christmas Party and given the event couldn't go ahead due to COVID Dan and his team still delivered some Christmas cheer to some special kids.
